The BMP-2M has been pretty much a free kill for years in my experience, ever since it was moved into the 10.0 region I have only really seen them as free RP to spade vehicles.

thats absurd its still one if not the most meta ifv.
It does now, it most certainly did not back then.
The argument could still be made that a mobile, 3rd gen thermals, apfsds firing, never overheating rapid fire gun with no ready rack, aircraft tracking vehicle should be higher than 10.3 but that ship has long since sailed.
“meta” and “ifv” are oxymorons.

I never had troubles with them, i didnt like using them either, having just 4º of gun depression feels horrible on a light tank, much rather use the dardos

Those who use the BMPT-72 don’t want a upgrade because the vehicle is already very powerful for its tier. They know that in the new tier (e.g., 12.0), they will struggle, destroying other vehicles will be more difficult, and their armor, which is impenetrable by ATGM-SABOTs, will be weakened. You probably own the vehicle and are quite happy with it. Therefore, those who own the BMPT-72 defend it like the back of their hand. If those who have fought against it commented, we would have more accurate and reliable information.
