and in my experience, fighting soviets are annoying at every single BR, Tried playing some 4.7 earlier today and all I got was non-pens vs T-34s with 75mm APDS. Very annoying. 9.0+ is usually what I play, and fighting the soviets is always an annoying chore. They almsot never get a bad vehicle. (Object 775s have been really peeing me off today)
BMPT cannot stay at its current BR, at least not without MASSIVE nerfs. Its an 11.3+ worthy vehicle and arguing otherwise because “I dont want it at that BR because it wouldnt be as OP” is just not a good argument
If it moves to 11.3 and isnt as good and you no longer enjoy playing it, then simply dont play it, not every vehicle has to be usable by your own reasoning.

Br 10-10.7 is already Russias best BR top. They either get rid of it all together or nerf it but moving it up in BR isn’t going to do anything for the BMPT it’s not strong at tanks past 10.7. At top tier US/Sweden I fire one round and it’s dead.
Also max is 10.7 after that even with Terminator USSR is not good. There is no +/- 1 BR USSR is best at BR 10-10.7 at 10.7 it’s food for every other country
Right on the money, skip BR 9.3-10.7 in my opinion (unless you have leo 2). Top tier this BMPT is literally food for any nation with braincells. Watched a streamer talk about how he was playing the BMPT and it was Russia vs Russia almost every game for its BR. People want their current nation to always have a chance against others but really playing a BR you don’t like just to grind a tree you will stop playing isn’t worth it in my opinion. I play US top tier and US 6.7. Sweden 10.7 and up is amazing and Germany BR 5. Russia I play at 10 because that’s when it’s only good.
Nah, i got good kd with and i can say that at 11.7 its just useless piece. You can do nothing with atgms that get destroyed 1 sec after you’ve been seen or gun that can be destroyed ( fire control/barrels/turret vertical.)
Not to forget that gaijin dont model such things as if you vertical is destroyed, you can still guide your atgm with commander sight.
Also the fact that you get 3x time scores with fast firing auto canon that the usual mbt
It’s not a KD issue. You hit it on the money with your own statement. Gajin rushed it (more than likely intentional) it’s broken due to modeling, bugs, etc. people buy it up cause they hear it’s broken, Gajin nerfs it. Supercell, COD, etc. release a META, take profits, fix later. It does not need a BR increase. Leo 2 can kill it and even my trusty Christian 2. Machine guns from US 5 billion 50 cal can destroy missiles (even mid flight) and damage turret. Most videos I see of it shredding is rushing a flank with shock and awe. Unaware players getting killed by confident gamers spamming. Peoe not knowing where to shoot or kill it. Nerf? Yes, some people in this chat defending have negative KD’s and 8.0 K/Ds with BMPT (definitely not balanced when one vehicle is that high and a t80 kd is tradh). BR Increase? No. Personally Russian balance comes from its ERA cause in real life Bradleys Bushmaster was wiping out Russian T90’s and T80’s left and right but its a game that needs some balance. BMPT needs a fix, it’s perfectly fine at BR 10.3 at most maybe BR 10.7. People don’t like the light vehicle? Literally just skip the BR till something happens and let those USSR mains go against each other.
I unlocked the M10, NASAMS, Ajax, M1A2T and HQ11 over the duration of the event, which were pretty much the overwhelming majority of the new ground vehicles I cared about.
Even besides the whole BMPT stuff I really need a break from ground after this event lol, mainly to grind the Mirage 2K & J-10C, AESA EFT and Japan air.
A tank that is barely usable outside of parades, propaganda posters and Algeria destabilised 20% of games BR range. Best to stay away from 9.3+ as Gaijin will never nerf this wet dream.
