The apds was never the problem, the problem is the aphe implementation in the game which the community voted against like turkeys voting for Christmas.
The game desperately needed that aphe fix :(
I think the community was too quick to judge the change, as a lot of CCs pointed out that tanks like the Jumbo would be hit harder than others.
Community: Cries that APHE is OP.
Gaijin: Makes a test and opens a vote to either change APHE or leave it as it is.
Community: Votes yes, but in the last 12 hours, an insane amount of “NO” appeared out of the blue, turning the entire vote to “No, leave it as it is…”

I don’t think people understand, we can still win games at BR 12. I can still kill the BMPT if you play your cards right. The difference between this:

Any other tank in the game this would of been a hard REPAIR. Not some nonsense turret fire, still turn my turret no problem,still fire my ATGMS and I can still switch to my secondary 30mm BS and spray again if I wanted to. It’s not a skill issue or a BR issue, it’s a tank that is too forgiving and brainless to use. I just hold W hull down and spray anything I see for a hit or better crewmate kill. You shot my turret cool let me use the 6 seconds of grace to take out whatever your tank has and finish you off.
I don’t care if I got 10 kills and win the match that’s not my main issue with the BMPT about win rates or k/d. I am specifically playing BR 12 to kill this tank and help the teams out for USA.
Yup, it doesn´t matter if the bmpt goes to 15.0, the damage model is the real problem.
1: For the missiles/guns just make that one ammo detonation (30mm or missile) break both ammo belts and missiles so it can shoot again ofter a short repair (even if one of your guns is out)
2: For the crew compartment, the quantum damage model of t series should be fixed so it is a little bit harder.
Edit: Also we should get rid of that turret basket mechanic joke.

i think i voted no at the time because my reasoning was that certain tanks would be nearly impossible to kill otherwise. Like T95 doomturtle when you dont have HEATFS like you have now.
I still think that APHE is fine as it is overall for gameplay. But thats just me.
1A2 lacks speed for that.
More than mobile enough
Except the T95 can easily be countered by shooting, or even HMG-ing, its tracks, and then flank it to get to much weaker armour (65ish at the back of the front cupola outcrop, for example).
This is what has irked me the most about that vote. No voters mostly seem to have done so because they were afraid they’d lose the ability to kill everything from the front, completely forgetting (or purposefully ignoring) that the concept of flanking is usually a very effective idea.
The main example I came across was Jumbo 75 vs Tiger I. Which irks me doubly so because the Jumbo can not only flank the Tiger if it wants to because it has a HMG, it can also just bring some APCR and get right through the front plate anyway.

My personnal win rate in UK 10.7 is 0 win for 7 games rn, the sales made that br game disastrous, it’s either BMPT steamrolls everyone, or when tehre is none, all T-80UE leaves in around 2min30.
0 ? out of 7 ? man that is rough as hell lol, i had for 12 games in my merkava Mk4B 100 percent winrate, then it’s fell off a cliff due to constantly being paired with the US teams which are gone in the first minute and a half.
I must say, yes BMPTs are brutal and should definitely be removed or completely overhauled.
The CAS is annoying as hell from USSR and is their strong suit, but at 10.7 they realistically wouldn’t win as much if people actually stayed the course of the game.
I’ve had a few games at 12.3 Isreal or 11.7 Italy where we win due to staying in the game and keeping fighting.
And believe me when you get a US team which is competent, it’s almost certainly a guarunteed win over Rus + Ger.
Hell I had a match last night at china 12.7 which was a downtier, and we had nearly lost, China + Rus and Italy VS Ger, france, swed and USA.
We should have lost, by all means, but due to the players leaving constantly the enemy team eventually evaporated and we won. mind you with 13 ground kills and 1 air kill 3 caps and 1 assist.

- CR1 Mk3, Vickers mk7, CR1 Mk2 , Ajax, OSA, Stormer and strela for SPAA. Lynx helicopter, Jaguar Gr1A for cas.
For premiums + Squadron you got
- Challanger 1 DS, T90 Bhishma CRV block 2, F4J (uk) not great but still decent CAS at 10.7, as well as the premium G-lynx or even the super hind.

Don’t count the F-4 Junk. Worst phantom in the game for its BR by a long shot. Britain 10.7 isn’t bad, the issue is that the term just eats all those tanks alive except for the bishma which it has to atgm twice

It’s still a viable and usuable 10.7 craft for CAS in GRB, hence hte not great point made about it.
Also the ADTW is worse than the F4J UK by quite a large margin.
The L26 on the CR1 MK3 and Vickers mk7 can and does whack terminators, plus there can only be a maximum of four per match now, which signigicantly reduces how impactful they are at 10.7.
If my 10.7 ariete can go up against them, the CR1 Mk3 can too.
4 at once, 8 throughout the match if they all use a back up on it (which seems to happen alot)
Pair that with the premium one, using the same back up scenario - you’re talking a potential 16 BMPTs throughout a match, enough to cakewalk any 10.7 match
It’s abit of an overexageration I will admit… but the BMPT as so much as looks in your direction in the CR1 - your gun breach is destroyed
I enjoyed the CR1 when I played but wow did I spend so much of my time repairing the breach
It’s doable but it certainly isnt fun
