He sure as hell exposes the utterly broken damage model.
It needs to be temporarily removed from the game and the entire thing reworked.
Fix the era so it doesn’t defy physics, fix the rest of the damage model, fix the autocannons, fix the completely artificial ammo belt break etc etc.
It’s utterly destroyed gameplay in entire br brackets, it’s time to actually take meaningful action. It’s been long enough.
Also - that Abrams kill formally with the 30mm is just disgusting. The tank isn’t like that in reality and the fact the model continues to have the issue after all these years is just staggering incompetence.

Of course in that specific spot there’s about 600-650mm of armor because of how Gaijin handled volumetric.
Honestly, move it to BR 12 and I would be happy. Forget fixing it or whatever Russia can have everything 11-13.

This BMPT swallowed two of my Mavericks. This vehicle is broken, instead of increasing its Battle Rating they need to fix its armor. Every blogger and player has already said this. Why isn’t Gaijin listening to us?

Knowing how Gaijin is with balancing im not surpised they put it at this BR because it seems like every new vehicle that gets added always go through a BR increase (ex Fox, Terminator, XM800) im not even sure what their reference is but if i have to guess thinking players are smart enough to aim for weakspots while ignoring the the type of damage it can do and what players are caplable of
Bcs they dont want to fix this, like other units and weapons… just go to issues site and search for tow2b performance, hellfire trayectory, m1 ring, era overperforming, etc etc 2 years and more to fix

Gaijin refusing primary sources and saying they are lies : r/Warthunder
It was comedy gold at the time. Apparently the Eurofighter Typhoon was unable to supercruise - despite every source saying so - because some devs at Gaijin didn’t think it could.
This also led to the mother of all forum battles in which a username who shall remain nameless proceeded to argue with everyone - even Smin - over the definition of ‘Supercruise’. Apparently it only applied to certain aircraft that they felt it should.
Said user was quickly dogpiled upon and slunk off from the British forum area with their ears well and truly stinging and their tail between their legs. I think gaijin quickly wheeled out a response saying it was a poor choice of words - but the meme was born!
It’s on the internet now - so it’s immortal. It is also very useful for reminding people of the blinkered approach our ‘totally Hungarian and totally not Russian’ game devs approach certain systems.
