BMPT/72 BR Topic

Dont forget the real life firing footage please because some documents that was written on doubtful pdf is not enough.

I’m not the person to ask for that. I’m simply posting images I found circulating online. Like I said, not invested in this topic as a whole.

It’s buried in that Kh-38 thread. Kinda wish the forums had a pinning feature that the topic creator/forum mods could use to pin relevant/important messages.

Well then let me save you from trouble.

You will not post any firing footage for 38MT because there is none.

You can find multiple footages for ML tho.

There is no firing footage for Kh38MT on that thread, I’m closely following it and yet to see any video for 38MT.

Don’t worry - it’s just a GRAU index from 2011.

Long and the short of it - it’s a catalogue of past, present and future (possible) weapons in the inventory. I wouldn’t rely on it as a sure-fire method of saying that X weapon exists or in-service.

I’d expect stuff like that to be fielded almost as marketing material to customers and/or potential customers - so not classified.

Send me through pm then.

Sorry meant the PDF not the video, replied to the wrong person

Alright then.

Fair enough.

The 250mm number is 40% of DM53/44 KE penetration

yes, claims as always…

Not to mention the second ATGM penning the lower plate and doing 0 post pen damage, but whatever

A shame claims from manufacturers are implemented directly as is in game for one nation and twisted then ignored for basically all others, but I digress

honestly the kh-38mt probably doesn’t exist as advertised, and the big issue is russia just doesn’t have proper IR seekers for it like, look at the lmur even that thing uses a two way datalink + gps for most of the flight, then switches to terminal IR at the end. we’ve seen how it actually works in ukraine from footage and descriptions. (I was wrong about the pantsir one my mistake i got confused with another thing)

russia’s IR seeker tech is just kinda behind, and that’s not me being influenced by propaganda, it’s a known problem that’s been reported on. not many people in russia specialize in sensors to begin with, especially in the military sector, and it’s been a bottleneck for ages

so imo the kh-38mt is either more like the lmur where it needs the two way datalink for most of the flight, or it’s only usable against ships and big buildings. but that’s just my guess there’s been literally zero proof of the thing working as a complete system. everything’s been mockups, and we even got pics of the artists who made them lol. respect to them though, they did insane work

if you need to i can also send you trough DM’s the LMUR footage since its war related i cannot send it here

Just sharing this

No, we need more vehicles added to other nations at that range.

In the 11.0 - 11.7 range they have 5 frequently played MBTs, one AA and two BMPTs. That’s 8 vehicles in total. They went from having meh lineup there to absolutely stacked one in one or two updates.

Germany has 2 vehicles.
US has 3 vehicles.

What should’ve been their main competition is simply not there.

What an absolute take.
It’s not a vehicle’s problem it resides in a nation that has no competition at that BR nor does that make it overperform in any way individually.

You can only fix this in one way and that’s by adding vehicles to other nations to fill out their holes there.

They actually modelled 5% of the turret?

No no comrade, we only care about the result.
By any mean necessary.

So your only solution is just for everyone else to endure the absolute unbalance at those BRs until Gaijin graciously adds more vehicles to 9 different tech trees?

That’s… an Odd looking model.

The ATGM launchers are strange, it has the weird hump from the BMPT-72, and it doesn’t have any grenade launchers.

A newer BMPT should look something like this.
