BMPT/72 BR Topic

yup, seems like the ERA plates are rather fond of staying on even if you remove the very thing that it’s attatched to

Lovely, just riddled with favouritism.

As we all know, explosives pre-installed on tanks cancels out the other explosives.

IRIS-T still is the biggest threat due to bein completely immune to multipath and bein Ir missile while BUK-TYPE03 and HQ11 bein radar guided missiles and can be defeated by multipath and countermeasures.

Last time I died to BUK in my F-16C was yesterday due spotting him so late while bein at high altitude tho map design also covered his radar signature until its too late apart from that its not hard to dodge these systems if you’re skilled pilot.

This is a table of win rates by country and BR that I just took a look at.

Look at this: the Soviet Union, which BMPT is a member of, has an overwhelmingly high win rate.

Gaijin has really foolishly ruined the balance.

Even looking at this, doesn’t the Terminator seem overpowered?

I’ll also attach detailed data on the BMPT series.

Please nerf the BMPT further or remove it altogether.

These are ruining gameplay for all nations except USSR

i think you could hit that heli if only you hold that lock. the datalink help a lot for killing helis

I’ll tell you that you hit Relikt armor and next time choose vulnerable areas for hits. joke.

Iam pretty sure it hit my top down on the front.

It hit me dead on the side, was very weird.

I’d honestly believe you if almost if not all of my heli kills weren’t them being hit behind mountains, the rare few times the Type 03 wants to function, but I’m sure I also have a clip where I hold/hard lock and the guy just strafes left to avoid all 3 missiles, would just need to find it.

Pantisr is still the best SPAA, but I die to BUK all the same unless I put a mountain in-between the missile and I, many times I spawn and instantly get RWR BUK pings, yet the Type 03 performs better outside of the radar view and needs direct eye contact to be able to fire at 90% of anything.

i know what you mean, it’s weird that the missile having a hard time hitting target when it nose dive to them, but somehow nigh impossible to dodge when chasing sideways target.
most of my heli kill is having to lock them till it hit, in my experience anyway. it also needing a looooong lock till the missile know what to do.

I think removing them would be over the top but it needs a proper br placement

Were it cant just shreed things

having similiar issues with the NASAMS when it comes to helis, they can just be hovering out in the open and my missile seems confused, gotten to the point i’ll send 1 data + 1 IR missile by default alongside prayers in hopes they can actually figure something out
If they are still flying after that, i might send 2 of each instead

It’s getting a bit ridiculous since they have the easiest time with jets pulling every stunt in existence while spamming all their CMs but they draw some type of line with helis

I agree with your opinion to some extent.

However, I still have my doubts: if he were placed at 12.3 or higher, wouldn’t other 12.3 tanks be uncomfortable or even broken?

At that br tanks with spall liners and side protection are common so its more balanced

Rarely am I afforded the luxury of only focusing on one heli, typically have to deal with 2 LMUR flingers and an SU30 at the same time, need to be able to target each of them, and destroy their incoming munitions, all with 12 missiles that have to hit the stratosphere before they begin target tracking meaning anything under 3km for aircraft (4km for munitions) is 100% safe from the Type 03.

People bring it into 12.7 lobbies now and it’s just as nonsense, the only ones truly safe are STRV & VT4s (at least in terms of being killed frontally), everyone else is mince-meated in seconds.

For close range heli attacks, sure.

Those 30MM’s provide additional cover but otherwise IRIS-T is much better in other aspects since you can easily dodge Pantsir’s missiles by bein agile and using terrain or distance.

IRIS-T doesn’t care those tho.

Very rarely am I violated by the Flakrad or ADATS, typically 2S6, Pantsir, BUK, afaik IRST trade off range for the ability to not set off RWR (and also require a visual), they still seem outperformed by BUK and Pantsir. All I know for fact is the Tan-Sam Kai (unless manually controlling vehicles missiles often slam into the nearest elevated dirt pile) and 03 Sam Chu (long range firing arc on short range maps, effortlessly multipathed) are the most buns “top tier” SPAA.

What will BMPT apologists say about this one? The damage model was made deliberately broken; no other vehicle gets this level of privilege and BS. It’s so blatant what the intention behind it was.
