Agreed, that’s what I’m primarily grinding. I don’t expect the ship to be very survivable. From TEC’s video on it it looks like the guns were more of a side grade. A collector’s item more than a meta ship probably
Im sure all 12 of the people playing boats will be happy.
Still higher than the number of jokes you guys have, which apparently, is one.
Was Ai kill thieving fixed…?
Because what’s the point if you do all the damage and an Ai steals the kill? There goes a bunch of score!
Also, maybe give people a couple days heads up events are coming? I hate this “oh here you go!” Mentality. People have lives.
Nuh-uh… its the flag. i think it looks really good and I’m glad that they added customizable flags
There goes a bunch of score!
Wast majority of points in naval battles are from damage, not from “kills”. It’s no matter who “kill” ship, if it was you, friend from the team or ai controlled ship.

I am not sure what to say here. We literally announced the event a week ago.
The event is unbalanced. Small boats like the Seatta or others find alot kill opportunities and do huge amount of damage points just after spawn. While playing capital ships doesn’t really pay off. It takes ages to move into position on these huge maps and also taks crazy amount of time to wear down an enemy BB.
There needs to be a capital ship modifier. And why sinking a capital ships rewards you with a similar amount of damage / game points as killing a small boat? When I play an autocannon boat I do the event in no time, its like 200% more time efficient.
I will care once you guys revert the aiming downgrade to Naval Arcade. OR at the very least give us the option to use the old aiming system in the settings. (I personally do not care about the realistic aiming option in arcade, but there are MANY players who want this back as well.)
Do this and I will care about Naval again. Until then, I do NOT care about anything that you guys post about Naval. You lost one of your biggest Naval supporters. I have spent hundreds of dollars into my Naval lineups, premiums, crew slots, crew skills.
And yet, you still have not said ONE WORD to any of us who you have alienated. Despicable behavior.
Good day, goodbye Naval.
true, but in most cases the majority of the damage isnt awarded until the target dies, in which case he who dealt the last blow gets the both the kill and the damage
you can quite literally drain a target of most of its crew and buoyancy, only for a stray shell to a non-vital area to snatch the kill and most of the damage/score
Its a while ago since I played alot naval matches in a row. I seems map rotation is bugged. Its just one example but always the same map again and again is an embarassment. Espeicall when this map in particular wont fit your ships. (flat without any cover).
Also waiting times are too high. Please someone contact the Naval dev team, this gamemode is not really working.
Ah my apologies. It must’ve been buried by other topics.
I disagree. I’ve played a lot of naval, I’ve noticed even though I could have 10k naval damage, there is usually someone with more kills and far less damage , but equal score.
Cool, show some evidences please.
Now that may be. However there are moments where we deal immense damage in a single salvo but the vessel has not sunk right away and is in the process of sinking. And in that moment if another player/bot gets a hit they are awarded with the full Mission Score and Damage points.
For example here I detonated the shellrooms of a Dunkerque taking out a large chunk of crew and caused rapid flooding from the holes created. But when she sank I only got a kill assist and only made 47 mission score out of it
Spoiler
The one who gets the kill meassage, aka did the last hit, gets also alot damage points. I often dealt alot damage, like 90%, but when another player or bot scores the kill, you get an assist with almost no game points/damage points.
Please fix map rotation.
The exclamation mark makes it look like these are really good or something!!!
Uh… no, not particularly - they are among the first targets for BB-calibre guns due to blowing up quite a lot!
Slow
Essentially useless except as weak points in the hull
“Mediocre” is an overstatement
At a shorter glance - it’s another Ersatz York, so nothing exciting at all.
I’d love to see how the Ai shot this guy (he didn’t) but magically got the kill.
These two screen shots are an Iowa, the guy in 1st and me a SovetSky.
I have more kills, naval damage, and assists than he does, but he got more score
It’s actually surprising the naval event is 45k points too. Should be 25k given the score gain is bad unless you play costal top tier.
You should play coastal at lowest BR possible. Matches/kills = gain of mattch points, everything is very quick. You can gun down other boats in a few seconds, quickly spawn your stuff, rush into the fray, gun down what you can…next spawn or next match. This way you grind the even in no time.
Relatively painless event so far for this ground player. Pr. 206 coastal action + Mikuma torp spam.
It’s funny how much naval has changed over the last few patches / events. Ships in general feel a lot more ‘tanky’. Especially the Japanese cruisers. I was reading posts from years back where people were even recommending to remove the Type93s (why would you do this? Your Type93s are fantastic) to stop from exploding on hits. Hasn’t happened yet this event. You really notice how much naval changes when you only really play it during events.
Boat gameplay is the way to go. Best ist between 3.0 to 3.7 BR. Above often means you end up in mainly blue water matches with less targets to shot.
Boats are the fastest way to get into action (almost immeadetly after spawn) and to rack up high match scores. RB mode ofc and highest possible rank. Just the queue time is slowing you down. Wish more would play naval, at least during events.
I’m doing it in AB, spading the new BB’s, and open fire at 20km - getting 2-4k score per game - task done in 1 evening.
