If “fresh and exciting” means you get… A premium A22 Churchill Mk.I… You really need to be on something.
The Emil Bertin? A light cruiser in a mobile game that will be facing knockoff Ganguts and the Kaiser? You even have a damn Arizona facing against this thing. That’s just blatantly unfair.

That’s… It? Less options in the store, 2 of which are already TT vehicles in WT? Even the P-61A is more intriguing than the F2G-1, seeing as it can face 2.7s with the same exact weaponry.

WARNING FOR XBOX USERS
The P-61A-11 stand-alone pack states it comes with 2000GE. It in-fact does not come with 2000GE.

Buyer Beware!

I do not know if it’s a mistake by Gaijin, or Microsoft. So I am not pointing any fingers. But I am in the back of my mind.

BUt it comes with 15 days of premium, still not worthy IMPO. Also I would rather love to have ability to buy that whole pack not just bad plane

You can purchase the whole pack on Xbox. All stand alone and the full pack are on the Microsoft store. You just have to visit the store and search for them. The only pack showing in the game for Xbox is the P-61A-11.

Different version of the plane - P-61A-11 whereas Black Widow is P-61C-1

And it was pretty much useless without bombs when it first came out, but looks like they gave it a couple of 500 or 1000lb bombs since then (just spotted that checking them for this reply), so might be useful at 3.7 viz 4.0 for the P-61C.

lol, had this plane for years haven’t used much since I got it. Now I know it has bombs I might have to use some more. looks like US has nice 3.7 lineup in AB I will have to try.

I have been bombed by a P-61 at 8.7, it can work even higher lol, though my TC was dead so I could not use my pintle MG

Back in the days, it didn’t have bombs. I had a 75% coupon for it years ago, but it seemed useless to me then.

So it is - for some reason I thought the Black Widow name was only for the C version and not the P-61 in general - learn something new (which isn’t new at all) every day!

Question, why is there no general Black Friday Sale in War Thunder besides the bundle? Like 50% Off everything in the store for example.

I played it yesterday. It is really slow and APDS is a kinda iffy ammo. But I had a good time with it. See it as a slow Churchill with a potent gun.

Because it is not actually a law that you must have a store-wide black Friday sale, so businesses get to choose what suits them best.
