Yeah, again especially in Air RB. You are gonna get uptiered into the F/A-18C Early’s anyway (12.0 vs 12.7) And def not the choice for Ground RB CAS. Only reason I still like it is I have a TON of planes to use with it in Arcade. I def +1 the F-18 prem over the F-4S for anything other than Air Arcade. And even then there is an argument to be made to go with the F-18 still.
With so many spawns in my 11.7 BR AAB lineup, doesn’t matter as much if I get uptiered:
(Plus I have almost 1,500 backups now, so I could spawn 20 times 😂 And will be 22 if I decide to get the 11th crew slot.)

what do T58 and turm meet in a uptier and can they still perform?
So, I do not have either the T58 nor the T-72AV (TURMS-T). I greatly prefer light tanks, so I have much more experience, and more opinions about light tanks versus MBT’s or Heavy Tanks.
Having said that, imo, I think the T58 does OK in an uptier. It has huge HESH rounds, and a silly fast autoloader. However, it does NOT have any composite nor explosive reactive armor and cannot stand up against good darts (APFSDS rounds). It can be uptiered all the way to 9.7, and there are plenty of tanks that can melt through its armor. One thing going for it however, is that it MIGHT not see as many uptiers as the T-72AV (TURMS-T) will.
The T-72AV (TURMS-T) has a pretty good dart for its BR, BUT it does NOT have the tandem charged missiles like many other vehicles at its BR do, and it WILL get uptiered very often to 11.3 because of the BMPT spam. Even if you are playing on RU teams, you will still face much higher opponents who are 11.3 and have very good darts and/or anti tank missiles. Not to mention the air support at those BR’s, and it does not have a laser warning system.
The T-80UD is a better choice for that BR range, for a premium RU MBT. The armor on the T-80UD is better overall compared to the T-72AV (TURMS-T)
Many people will disagree with my next recommendation for US if you really want a higher tier/BR premium, but I REALLY like the M1128 Wolfpack. Very good dart for its BR, gen 3 thermals for both gunner and commander. Has hydro pneumatic suspension now so it can tilt forward and back to help with its fairly bad gun depression. It is also at a good BR, while still being high enough rank to grind most of the US ground tree. It is not a store pack, but it is there.
I would NOT recommend the XM1 (GM) NOR the XM1 (Chrysler) (XM1 Chrysler is Xbox only.) I still love this “little” “MBT” tank, but its dart is very weak. I use HEAT rounds normally with it, and only take a handful of darts in my loadout. It is very very fast, has ammo blowout panels, and has hydro pneumatic suspension. Can get very low to the ground. But it really isn’t the a great choice anymore. When it came out it was great, now it is just meh imo.
Do NOT get the M1 KVT. It has BAD darts, especially nowadays when it will get continuously uptiered into the BMPT spam. You will HATE life if you get the M1 KVT.
The next option for US for a store pack would be the M1A1 Click-Bait. Yes, lots of people will talk crap about it, but it is not the tank that is “bad”. It is the players 😂 You WILL get grouped with teams of super noobs VERY often if you get the Click-Bait. You have been warned.
Next pack option would be the RDF/LT. Not great, not bad. BUT it is a true light tank. 0 armor, you WILL die if you go face first into the enemy. And it comes with the same warning as the Click-Bait that you WILL be grouped with tons of noobs if you play ground realistic with it.
Have you been trying them in test drives?
Yes lots of test drives the t58 has that crazy wait time to get the ammo in the autoloaders turm 3 is great and fast t80ud is just a russian tank good pen but bad gun movements and back up speeds wolfpack is good but im not going to be doing much of eating rounds

The multipacks are almost certainly NOT going to go on sale. Probably not ever. There have already been sales where they were old enough, but they still did not go on sale.
The T-72 has HALF the reverse speed of the T-80 🤣 You would really hate life if the T-80 is already annoying you lol.
Another reason why I so highly recommend the BMD-4M 😉
What about the 2s28
2S38 is a great light tank:
- Gen 3 thermals for both gunner and commander
- IRST, lock air targets. Especially effective against helis
- Proximity fused shells to pair with the IRST, again very effective against helis and recon drones.
- Good reverse speed, rare for RU tanks, not extremely rare for RU light tanks though. Most RU lights have OK/Good reverse speeds.
- Crewless turret (you can still get ammo detonated by shots to turret/hull. Crew is all in very front.)
- Can use APCBC shells to sometimes deal with BMPT’s. I take in ~20 APCBC shells now because of BMPT spam
- Amphibious
- Dozer blade for trenching. Not super useful, but fun/neat. I have on some occasions won matches using it. But it is fairly rare.
- Laser warning system. Rare in the RU tech tree. VERY helpful in GRB against tanks, helis and planes. IF they are lasing you. (Laser range finders from tanks should always trigger the LWS)
Can do basically everything. One of my favorite tanks to play in the game. Also the tank I have the most matches in 😂 Getting close to 2,000 matches with it now:
Do NOT buy top tier vehicles if you dont have high level crew.
Id suggest you only buy a top tier vehicle after you ve reached rank IV in a nation.
