- wait for sale on the store
- Premium account
- High tier premium
- Lots of low tier
- Get 10k GE and wait for sale
I 100% disagree lol. The LESS time you play makes the premium time even more useful. It would take months to years to grind a tech tree fully if you are only playing a handful of hours a week. Better to have premium time to maximize each minute of play time that you are able to get in.
There are two general types of players. Those who can play a ton of hours per day/week/month/year, but don’t have a lot of money. Fine, don’t spend if you don’t want to. Then, you have players who CAN’T play a ton of hours per day/week/month/year, but DO have money. So, get premium time, get premium vehicles.
If a player has little time to play but can afford premium time and premium vehicles it makes 0 sense not to purchase them. You are just wasting time. The amount of time spent in real life working a job to pay for premium time/vehicles is MUCH less than the extra time spent grinding without premium time and/or premium vehicles.
It is only $20 for 180 days, ~$40/year, cheaper than any game that comes out with expansions once or even twice a year and sells them for $60, $80 or even over $100.
For most people in the US that is less than 1 days worth of wages to pay for Premium Time for a full year. Rather than spending HUNDREDS or THOUSANDS of extra hours grinding. The math doesn’t math if you have the money to spend.
Premium time is the absolute best way to grind since it affects everything you play with, and still stacks with premium vehicles.
Option #6:
Wait for sale, get a “cheaper” store pack, AND get 180 days of Premium Account time. You can do both with $50 when the sales hit.
180 days prem acct = $20
$50 - $20 = $30 left for a store pack. About 50% of the store packs are $30 or less on sale.
There are only a handful of packs that are $80 normally, $40 on sale. And there are quite a few that are normally $70, $35 on sale. So, IF you could spend $55 instead of $50, you could get almost anything you wanted. But there is still a good selection of packs that are normally $60 or less, $30 or less on sale.
You still have a little over a month until the sales to consider your options 👍
so the 3 packs like the hell on wheels and the tiger pack give 3 tier 3 vehicles or the $40 dollar sales like the su30AMV or su30MMK with 30 days of time and gets 3k GE that can be spent on more time which I would have to wait for a sale and get lucky if they put it on sale?
I THINK it’s been long enough and those MIGHT go on sale, but I think the odds are fairly low for those triple packs. I’m not sure but I think the last big sale didn’t have those on discount. So they might continue to only have them at full price. I’ll check in a minute to see how many updates it’s been (premium store packs and in game premiums do not go on sale until about 3 updates have passed.)
Yeah, they were added over a year ago now, plenty of updates past the norm:
And they did not go on sale last big sale at the end of last year. Odds are probably very low that they will go on sale during the upcoming sale.
In addition, they are premium but have some of the weakest boosts, so don’t buy them if you’re thinking of grinding SL as much as possible.

the best premium I played with was that 24 hour boat from the last season gave tons of SL but was super boring
what about the
Leopard 2 (PzBtl 123) this goes on sale on most Xbox major sales
So, the PzBtl 123 is still an ok/good tank, BUT it has effectively no armor and you have to play it like a light tank. I have it, I like it just fine. It has a good dart for its BR. Very maneuverable, very good acceleration forward and reverse. But you MUST use that reverse speed while you are reloading or you will get nuked if you stay in the open. It does have quite good zoom on main gun, so you can stay further back and snipe, which is the preferred play style with it.
HOWEVER, it IS at 10.7 BR for both GAB and GRB. So, you WILL get uptiered into the BMPT spam a LOT. And I mean a LOT. You will see more uptiers than downtiers, even more than “normal”. Even in Arcade I get pulled up to matches with tons of BMPT’s with anything I use 10.3 BR and higher. (Both BMPT’s are 11.3 BR in GAB and GRB, thus anything 10.3+ BR can and will get uptiered into BMPT spam.)
Imo, and most other’s opinion, it would be better to look at premiums that are 10.0 BR or LOWER to avoid that BMPT spam. The other option is to go HIGHER, but we have already talked about that. And I would recommend against purchasing a “max” BR/Tier premium vehicle for grinding as your first/highest BR premium. Down the road once you grind out a tree fully and experience the top/max BR’s/Tiers yourself, then it is OK to buy a top/max premium vehicle.
I would recommend avoiding the Leaopard A1A1 (L/44), lots of reasons.
The CLOVIS or the Turm III are other good options.
Clovis store link: Gaijin.Net Store - Marder CLOVIS Pack
Turm III store link: Gaijin.Net Store - Turm III Pack
I have some experience with top tier tanks especially western tanks challenger 3 and 2 and light tanks but its the mobile version so still trina find out if that would save me from hating top tier no thermals in mobile and its all arcade
The CLOVIS if you like light tanks. I have it, I LOVE it. It also has a Laser Rangefinder which is AWESOME at its BR.
The Turm III is also excellent, I do not have it. It does NOT have a Laser Rangefinder, but both it and the CLOVIS have autoloaders.
Both also have autocannons, the Turm’s autocannon is higher caliber. You should test drive them. They are both at excellent BR’s as well. High enough Tier/Rank to grind most of the German tech tree, but low enough BR to avoid the super high BR opponents.
Both are only $25 on sale. I would still recommend getting 180 days of premium time versus getting them both. HOWEVER, getting both the CLOVIS and Turms III make for a superb lineup. Or if you could swing it, getting both and 180 days of premium time would accelerate your German ground tree grind tremendously.
Both the CLOVIS and Turms come with 15 days of premium account time each, so 30 days total (they add together, you do not lose any time by purchasing multiple packs at once.)* Buuuuut as I always repeat, that 180 days of premium account is very hard to beat.
It’s your money but you’d want to really think about what you’re spending on and if you want to spend money.
Just sayin
But if you really wanna have fun without putting too much effort in, anything russian related will be the best for you. Perferably within 10.7-11.0 range
BMPT spam 🤣 Unless someone is looking at getting the BMPT-72 themselves 💀 I have the 2S38 and can “deal” with the BMPT’s, but I have also been playing for over 10 years, so it isn’t a fair comparison to a level 10 player 😉 Our friend here is new to the PC version of WT.
EDIT:
THOUGH, if he plans on playing Realistic most of the time, then getting an RU premium would put him on the side of the BMPT spam 😂
Right, I don’t play RB much, and I forget about the countries being grouped up 👍
wdym?
Yep, BMPT spam: if you can’t beat em in that teir join em. Or just don’t play the teir at all
Although new players with the BMPT72 are an unknown mix. I’m not sure if they’d die as fast as in any other prem or survive with the BMPT72
BMPT does have better survivability by far after al
100%. I have the tech tree BMPT fully spaded, and it is WAY more survivable than the BMPT-72.
EDIT:
At that point, if he did want to get a max/top tier/BR RU tonk, I think the T80-U-E1 would be a better choice than the BMPT-72. Gaijin.Net Store - T-80U-E1 Pack
Though it is 12.0 BR and would mean top top BR matches almost 100% of the time. I am just not that impressed with the BMPT-72, even though it is still often a menace. Just not as much as the tech tree BMPT.
yea the centauro and m1128 are what I use and have have used gepard so im okay with cannons
what tree is the best at the moment?
Russia/USSR
Yea thats what i kinda guessed they have lots of options
Hard to go wrong with RU. I love all the RU light tanks. But I still like US and Germany quite a lot. I also really like Italy and Sweden. Really depends on what kind of play style you enjoy.
BUT, you will find options for almost any playstyle you enjoy in the RU trees. For land sea and air.
