the Russian badger P-36Cs are quite fun, me a few friends of mine just hopped off after getting 6 back to back victories after 2 initial losses of us getting back into the game
Well fun is pretty subjective, but some suggestions:
For cannons only the La-7 is great. and there are a number of Spitfires with 4 hispano 20mm, their air belts with the SAP-I are nasty. and the later Yak-9s have 2 20mm and several options for a 3rd 20 to 45mm cannon
For MG/cannon mix
The P-63s are good BnZers with a 37mm cannon and 4 .50 cals and are in both USA and France TTs, a whole bunch of Spitfires with 2 20mm cannons and either 4 7.7 or 2 .50 cal MGs then the Yak 3s and 9s with various combos of guns .50 cals and 20mm, 23mm, 37mm and 45mm cannons.
The J21 is fun, it has one canon and 4 mg so idk if it counts though. For cannons, I found the 109s pretty fun once you unlock the gun pods (single gun in the nose is kinda painful).
You might also wanna try the VB.10-02, it’s an absurd plane but somehow works

J21 is just a worse 2.3 Fokker but at 4.3
Bruh what? That thing has insane armament and flies surprisingly well
Compared to the 2.3 Fokker the Fokker is in a far better position to abuse the 13.2 with its fictional ammoynt of ammo

New one at 2.3 with 2x 13.2mm mgs with more ammo than it had historically with similar flight performance as a J21 while at a good BR. Hella under BR’D
The J9 early has 13.2 also at 2.3 with terrible flight performance and less ammo, peak balance
Oooh you mean the Dutch one, the D.XXIII? Yeah idk I grinded France rank 2 a year ago and haven’t touched it since then so I wouldn’t know.
But overall I always have a lot of fun with the J21, I find its only weakness is the low rip speed but that isn’t too problematic most of the time

USA get manhandled in low tier props. If you pick a country that normally gets matched against them (USSR), you’ll win 75%.
I’m really not sure why Gaijin refuses to do anything to balance the incredible mismatch down here, so just abuse it I guess.
I love the Bf 109 F4, love the F4U-4, P-51C10, Cannonstang (P-51/Mustang Mk Ia) and G.55 Sotto 0.

Isn’t the P-39 just better at a lower tier? Plus, I have that Spaded.
Possibly, I don’t play below rank 3 much due to it unfortunately not counting for tasks, so I’m not too familiar with many of those planes.
The Ki-43-III Otsu is a fairly fun low tier prop for just messing around, very responsive and easy to fly.

It has 1 37 mm w/ 30 ammo, 2 .50 cal w/ 400 ammo, and 4 .30 cal w/ 1200 ammo, plus it’s at 2.7 RB.
My personal picks:
- B-239. It has very responsive flight performance at 2.7, handles damage like a champ, and has four 12.7mm LKk/42 which can take a full belt of incendiary bullets. Worth a try for sure
- A-21A-3. its entirely firepower based but has four 13.2mm MGs that hit harder than 20mms and have a generous ammo pool. The nose mounted 20mm isn’t even the highlight 🤣. It’s also surprisingly maneuverable and can get its nose on target well. Flight performance is booty despite having a DB-605B engine because of how heavy it is. Lastly a ballistics computer + 600kg bomb.
- bv238. Hear me out. I know it’s a six engine heavy bomber, but it refuses to die even if the fuselage is completely blackened out on the DM, has TWENTY SC250J and so many 13mm turrets it could reduce a B-17 to ashes.

Bro the VB. 10-02 is overpowered. Its cannons hit hard and it flies well. It’s fast and u can spawn at a special point sometimes. Great for having fun if ur tired of the Mirage F1C but want to play France. thx so much for the recommendation it helped me out a ton! :D

If handled correctly, the French VB.10C-1 is incredibly strong.
US Cannonstang has strong performance.
French Br.693AB2 is fun to use, but you may need some time to get used to aiming that gun.
Yak-2 KABB is brain off mode.
I-225 and Mig-3-34 if you enjoy energy fighting.
Re.2005 will slap anything you can trick into getting close to you.
B7A2 for an airspawn turnfighter.
