Battle Pass Season 24: “Do It Yourself” and Its Warbond Shop!

They don’t have to be better than the vehicles at their BRs. They’re out of place thematically with all the other WW2 vehicles and often they aren’t even fun to use nor get killed by. What’s the point of adding them? Who wants these? They’re awful. Just because a vehicle exists doesn’t mean it has a place in the game.
Whatever it doesn’t matter. Might as well start adding modern infantry cars with rooftop MGs to ww2 ranks at 1.0
Who cares anymore.

its an R3 with the capability to be dangerous if its 50 meters away from you (and if it comes so close you just 50cal it)

More dangerous for himself that for the enemy
at 6.0 will be nearly pointless. At this point the leopard 40/70 is a lot better (and even more protected)

WT has something called “the BR system” but not something called “the themes system”. You have an open matchmaker where any nation can end up in any team. You can fight city battles with no infantry. You can have 5 Sturers in a team even though only 2 were ever put together. You can fight in the Arctic with a Maus. So what theme are we talking about here, exactly?

Not to mention, even among WW2 vehicles we have time travellers. Do you think it’s thematically out of place to have the Puma at 3.7 and the Pz IV J at 4.0? These are two late war vehicles after all…

Clearly all the people who are happy to see this. My favourite tank in the game is the Tiger II Sla and I have just bought this battle pass, so go figure.

Why not? I’d also like a Kettenkrad with a Panzerschreck.

Not bad👍 A (free) plane worth the time for an Air RB player.

Finally a BP addressing the lack of Rank III single engine Italian fighters at a low BR as the 3.3 Re 2001 CN is not really competitive and gets dragged (like all BR 3.3 aircraft) in constant BR 2.7 - 3.7 uptier loops due to the high popularity of a lot of under-BRd 3.7 aircraft (like Ki-44s, P-51 C-10 premiums) and 2.7 planes (like P-39s, B-239s and A-36s) whilst facing actually op aircraft like Yak-1Bs and MB 157s.

After a check of the more than reasonable BR of 3.0 of the BP vehicle:

i decided to invest some time to get it.

Well done!

It has an ammo box and you can use the rockets up to 200m on flat ground, 400m if you cheese it by using the recoil of your gun and the rockets to tilt your vehicle

Imagine if it was Romanian addition to the regular TT. Romanian? Regular? No way…

There was 1 (one) prototype of this version built.
Regular TT? Really?

Still, even if not this one, there are other IAR-80/81 variants, yet not a single regular one. Plus prototypes coming to regular trees aren’t something uncommon.

Are you being obtuse on purpose or…?

The HVAP in the gun is literally useless, it can fail to pen even the most paper vehicles and the rockets can’t be aimed.

you can hit your rocket with the 20mm if you fire the two of them at the same time

when you spawn the IT-1 is 200m and the rocket cant go past the river,

cant hit the t62 from 130m flat or 70m flat

Same with Finnish planes. Every domestic design is paywalled as a premium or event vehicle

It’s getting apds

World war 2 took place in 6 years, during which there were still biplanes used at the end of the war, the technology gap isn’t that far from each other so that it’s egregious nor unimaginable. Most vehicles around this era are also coincidentally the most balanced and fun to use & fight.

This does not refute my point. Not every vehicle in existence needs to get added.

You’re the reason this game is going downhill. Enjoy your digital content of low quality that is produced usually in quantity.

But there were no Pumas or Pz IV Js used in 1941. Time travel is still time travel. Imagining Barbarossa with Pumas and late war Pz IVs is as anachronistic as imagining it with IS-2s.

The BR system is the reason why. If you disagree, we can always play matches where my side gets to spawn KV-1s and yours is stuck with Pz-38ts. Have fun.

You have made no point at all. You said “these vehicles ruin immersion” (subjective argument, to me there’s no immersion at all in WT since I know enough about WW2 to know how “absurd” everything is) and then asked who wants these vehicles to be added. You got your response - I do, as do others in this thread.

Welcome to the drip feed content industry, brother. Never leave content on the table if you can add it and keep going for another 14 years.

Me, specifically? Amazing. I love it! I must be some kind of VIP. Since apparently BVVD is paying such close attention to my wishes, I’ll get on the phone and ask him to add twenty more cold war scout vehicles at WW2 BRs just to irk you.

(BVVD if you’re reading this, bring back the Coelian/Panther 2/Tiger 2 105 and my soul is yours)

Will do! Enjoy commenting on the forum for a game you no longer enjoy 😁

I’m not gonna get into a 20 reply argument. I’m sure you’ll have fun defending the million dollar company.

Subjective answer. The game launched on this premise, and kept it up for a long time. You’re just pushing the line from saying just because a vehicle that was made a few years earlier/later can fight each other, the game should be about modern whatever cars facing off primitive tanks.

He says, as he replies
