It"s very easy. A console icon, a name with a squadron tag, or something else complex.
And regardless of what the text says, the mission works for ships too. I tested it killing a destroyer. It counted.
So you played arcade not realistic?
Of course. The easiest way to do that task is low ranking (3.0-3.7) AB.

It’s not as hard as it sounds, just takes some getting used to.
Best bet is to use some pretty speedy tanks you’re good with;
M18’s seem very popular(I use them for a good deal of it), but
there are many other as well. I use mph in my settings, but you
only have to be going 20 mph to qualify a kill for that.
T-34-85’s cruise at just above 20 mph in 4th gear . . . so you can
make some decent shots like that(flat ground preferable . . . lol)
By the time you get to the last 5 - 10, you’ll have it down I bet.
It’s actually kinda fun and a change of pace from regular play.
You might try AB if you’re a regular RB player . . I mean you normal
playstyle kinda goes out the window doing this Challenge anyway.
At any rate, you’ll figure it out, don’t panic & no pressure . . .

“Lower” tier autocannon vehicles (fast ones). You can fire ACs on the move, stabilized or not doesn’t matter, you’ll hit anyways. Use all these super small maps and cruise through the chokepoints at speed. Spray what you see.
The the easiest way. Obvious choice would be stabilized tanks, which also works. But its easier in a low tier setting. I’m talking about rank III and IV.

Rank III is not enough for easy doing the challenge.
Best is SPAS with proxy fuses or missiles.
I witnessed now for several days / weeks a lot of players able to use the
…to it’s strengths.
Seeing players getting aces in it is not rare - but most of the players don’t use excellent agility when staying at around 350 - 400 kmp/h.
I meet yesterday an experienced player flying it almost perfectly, scoring 5 kills whilst using the right strategies when under pressure in a defensive position:

His (player pavelica) only mistake was that he tried to replicate a low alt stall fight maneuver (which was successful vs a friendly Hellcat) not realising that this is not working vs carrier based aircraft (lower stall speed) if the enemy conserves his energy in a horizontal turn.
As i see a lot of players wasting the potential of this aircraft - watching the replay might be worth your time…

The M18 looks like a solid option — high speed, great damage, and good pen. I have it unlocked, but I haven’t actually played it yet. I guess the key stats here are speed and penetration, so you don’t have to waste time aiming for weak spots. The T-34-85 should probably work too. Thanks for the advice and the good luck wishes, I’m definitely gonna need it. I’ll probably have to try everything in AB, and maybe I’ll also give autocannons a shot, like those American SPAAs with Bofors
Yeah AC might be good ill try them. But stabilized tanks will lose stab on speed above 20 kmph or so and will be the same as tanks with no stab right?
Dont have anything above rank 5 and the lowest one with proxy fuses are british chieftain at 8.3 i think :(
And surprise . . . zipping around a corner at a good clip and popping
a red guy for a quick kill not only gets you a tick on the Challenge, but
also is quite . . . satisfying . . . lol

Didn’t you say, you have France rank 5? You have AMX-13 DCA 40, EBR, AML. All of them will get you through this task.
Then there is Japan 4.0 - M24, M19, M42.
Gain speed and ratatatatata.

This and daily tasks related with kills with a light tank. Tasks destroying planes too.

Found the update where Naval tasks are supposed to include “system named” bot kills: Server Update 23.01.2025
@Stona_WT Could we please get this changed back to include Bots. Naval is already hard enough, everyone agreed over a year ago that the change to include bots for Naval Battle Pass tasks was good. It should not be players only. Thank you.

It isn’t. 5 kills by plane in AB in the worst-case scenario takes 5 kamikaze-run battles.
Are they supposed to give those BP points away for free? That would be nice, I suppose, but it’s unlikely to happen.
