Slightly better.
Israel lads are having Spitty LF Mk.IX (CW) in regular TT
While we don’t have a clipped-wing version of LF Mk. IX.
I mean, ‘this specific spitty’ can be added to Israel TT since Greek isn’t British nor part of the Commonwealth, still we don’t have Clipped LF IX, so…
Carburettor intake looks the wrong type for the real ΜΥΣΤΡΑΣ (MH558)
It’s too short on the model - it’s using the kind from early Mk.IXs.
Gaijin seem to treat the long carburettor intake as a feature only from the Mk.IXe, but many Mk.IXc had it as well, depending on when they were built, and refit/mods by the later years of the war.
Plagis’ Spitfire LF Mk.IXc (ML214) should also have the longer carburettor according to historical photos, and probably a couple of other post 1944 Mk.IXc like the Soviet LF Mk.IXc and the Israeli F Mk.IXc. But the only planes that have it in the game are those with the “e type” wing fitted with .50 cals instead of the “c type” wing with .303s
If a Mk.IX has the late, wide-chord, pointed rudder (which the Greek BP model seems to have), it should almost certainly have the late carb intake as well.
Removing the shrouds from the 20mm Hispanos on “Mystras” like the above photo, would also help give it a more unique look.
There’s genuinely no excuse for it to be this bad.
If you wanted/needed to be lazy with the model and just had a reskin spitfire, whatever, but atleast give us a spitfire for a nation that doesn’t already have one (pleasant for China, Sweden for Sweden and Thailand for Japan)
As for the destroyer, Same. You could actually add one of the class to Russia. Harutsuki was sold to them after the war and re-armed with Soviet weapons but there would have been a time when she had her original Japanese guns. So all it would need is a flag.
The box is objectively lazy and there is no excuse. Give us ground vehicles or Atleast a mix. No justification doing naval box twice in a row.
I’m not expecting nothing but uninteresting vehicles from now on after Nuclear Thunder (as if two half-baked bombers is interesting but nonetheless those two are great vehicles to look at). Great selection choosing Greece as the main reward; absolute no complain about that but a Spitfire? If we’re going to use Greece mithology references why no Peace Icarus 2000 with the F-4E Phantom II AUP? Which not only would be a vehicle to have (collectors) but also to use, specially in the lacking Israeli tech tree.
What’s the matter? Is not like there’s a Spitfire Mk IXc in the Israeli tech tree; give it a new roundel, put another flag behind it and call it a day, not even a different research nation. It’s baffling how Gaijin are handling top reward vehicles recently, at least the last battlepass vehicle was different from the tech tree counterpart, at least that but this is absolute mind boggling. I’m sure there will be people wanting to have these vehicles but in my opinion having the ability to buy the battlepass for 2,000 Golden Eagles and on top of that to complete missions for this vehicle; for something in the tech tree is not worth it.
As I said before, I’ll not expect nothing but less and less interesting vehicles, specially with the up coming ground event vehicle where Gaijin has much more options to pick. I hope I eat those words but seeing how things are going, I doubt it.
gaijin response to mediocore BP rewards is players complain that this could have been a tree vehicle which is valid the F2G-1 should have been as the best corsair behind a paywall is absurd but if the vehicle is just a sidegrade to whats in the tree then it should be a BP
really is that true ? the only BP challenges i didnt do in last one where the 2 Boat ones which kill Bluewater in a PT boat which is almost impossible due to the costal boats at 3.3 literally shredding any PT boat
