John Boyd has famously claimed to have never lost a dogfight. But I also know someone who has met him and was in a position to know that says otherwise.
Once again this is meaningless. Everything has out-fought another thing at one point or another. A T-38 and an A-10 have shot down F-22s in training. It tells us nothing.
For additional context Admiral Zumwalt was not even an aviator and at the time he was lobbying for the Sea Control Ship concept; basically a very small aircraft carrier as part of what the Navy called the High-Low mix…(Which was different than the USAF concept but similar principle.)

I have had the plane longer than you have buddy. I was one of the first players to get it and play it. I just don’t play it because shooting IR missiles at flareless planes is not something I really care for.

Not according to the developers and basically anyone else who has tested it. It’s likely overperforming in just as many parameters (energy retention) as it is underperforming.
That’s odd because I am probably the guy that taught the people that dumpster you all the time in sim how to dogfight at some point. And I’ve made multiple videos and multiple posts that date back years at this point arguing that looking purely at STR value and saying something will win is not always true.
At the same time I am not stupid enough to completely ignore it as a figure of merit. I am also not stupid enough to albis high AoA capability as a solution to poor EM performance or significant turn rate gaps.

It’s missing climb performance and acceleration
It’s got very good AOA capabilities it’s under performing in that regard too
It’s STR is similar to the F-4E better at medium and low speed in fact (this also being the harrier with the weakest Pegasus engine so it’s likely that the improved engines will out rate the F-4E)
while at low speed it’s ITR exceeds a MiG-21 placing its low speed ITR as very good.
