BAe Sea Harrier - Technical data and discussion

If I can flare missiles consistently its good enough for me lol.

Also how do they expect me to use this gunsight

You look at enemy. You shoot at enemy. You kill enemy.

It’s a complete joke how Gaijin put in the effort to give the SHars a proper HUD and somewhat accurate FM but ignore them immediately afterwards

Makes it even worse

It does the Harrier absolutely slaps now. In SIM it is a killer 15 kills yesterday.

I assume you have a full Hotas and VR/TrackIR with a good PC

Just Hotas controller and a Webcam tracker.

I play on a laptop, a fairly nice one though all the same lol.

As long as you have a good CPU and GPU it doesn’t matter. I use a laptop and I don’t struggle with much other than cooling issues due to how hot my 10th Gen i3 almost always being overworked

I must admit that my stats in Sim are not good. I always struggle finding enemies and keeping track of them so I need headtracking badly

That poor little GPU I have an unlocked I7
I7 13700HX

Its next to impossible to dogfight without head tracking. Just use open track its free.

??

I’m so jealous. Recently my laptop stopped working (won’t explain how) and the guy that fixed it said that he could only put in more RAM. I hope to get a PC with a Magic Mage one day soon

Head tracking via the webcam. It marks the points of your face. Than translates that into game XYZ positions.

@Gunjob

would you be able to suggest to the devs that selecting Aim-9Ls should also select AAM sight mode? (like it does with bombs)

Currently. When you switch from bombs to Aim-9Ls. It switches from bomb mode to standard mode. You can now actually access AAM mode, but requires cycling through all other sight modes to do so, not ideal when in a dogfight

(especially on the FA2, as selecting AMRAAM or Aim-9M switches back to standard mode, so you are constantly having to cycle through sight modes, which isnt too bad if you dont have a gunpod, but awkward if you do)
