Can you please get the Devs to fix the HUD on the Sea Harriers by next big patch? We haven’t had a proper HUD for them in ages and if need be, nerf their flight performance but please we need a proper HUD.

Technically, We have never had a proper HUD.

We replaced the Gr3 HUD with a buggy and unfinished SHar HUD last major which is good on some fronts and a lot worse on others. Not sure what I prefer. CCRP and a fixed gunsight or radar and missile tracks

It still doesn’t tell you what your radar has locked lol. If you lock something out of the HUDS FOV you have to turn left right up down until it magically appears.

IRL it had the lock symbology flash on the side of the display in the direction of the lock so you can just turn to it.

I understand the frustration lol. but pinging some random head guy who doesn’t care isn’t goin to change anything. Especially not when only a grand total of like 5 people actually play the Shar and want it fixed.

Its just not a priority.

You can but the Radar display is also missing tons of functions and symbology. After acquiring a certain video the cockpit model of the Sea Harrier in game is fundamentally incorrect lol.

No I totally agree, its just annoying to see just how little effort is put into the Sea Harrier compared with basically any other fighter.

I’ve decided to make some more bug reports I am now sad.

Im afraid thats not how it works. Community Managers do not decide or demand what is done and by when. Suggestions, Issues and other matters are organised, prioritised and resolved when they can be by the dev teams according to their workflow and current plans.

HUD improvements are part of an ongoing development, many of which have been introduced in the last few majors and will continue to be done.

It is not for me or any other CM however to “decide” which HUDs are worked on and in what order.

Not a single bug fix for the SHar. So it reamins unplayable (or at least without great difficulty) in SB.

Such a shame they didnt even finish what they started

That is why I wanted a proper HUD even if we have to sacrifice the agility, we still need it for SB.
