that’s skill issue, you can easily hide between your teammates or ennemy corpses. Also it’s so small that most craters are bid enough to hide the thing, add bushes onto it and it’s busted.
3rounbd burst and almost no recoil, no problem
doesn’t need to
first rule: don’t be seen, and it’s perfect for that, second rule, don’t be hit, and it’s very small, it’s perfect for that. 3rd rule don’t be penetrated, and the crewless and inert ammo are perfect for that.
first:
7-8 hot 2-3/ beam riding pars makes it an atgm vehicle with a secondary autocanon, not the other way around.
8 kornets possible (or hot/ BM pars) and 3 round burst apdsfs (@ 100-130mm pen) with thermal, autotracking, commander stab (and weapon slaving), recoiless gun, very small and nimble plateform, crewless with inert ammo turret. Nah it’s fine, just even more op than the 2s38…
30 mm autocannon limited to 80 rounds at most without any extra reload, less pen and 2 atgm at most idk brother but that aint 12.0 maybe 10.0 to 10.3 but not 12.0, edited cuz calculating it, is a lot less
you forget about the ammo box mechanic that doubles the ammount of ammo available. That means 14/16 atgm available, with 160-200 30mm rounds (it’s cta so it can be stored close to any way you want). That’s not weak by any mean and 12.0 would be very fine. The fact current ifvs are undertiered doesn’t mean the suggestions should be too. It would definitely be extremely strong well employed, even at 12.0 (it has auto tracking so it doubles down as an spaa with atgms). It’s still in essence a very small and nimble rat tank that will have no problem destroying anything it has to face, unlike the house sized ifs we currently have.
its semi telescoped, for the info i could find it only keeps 80 rounds in the side ammo box and can only keep an extra atgm at most, as for the wiesel 1A2 that one has a modification specifically for the extra atgm’s, info avaliable its mostly calculations of the dimensions of the box using this dimensions to calculate ammo storage
someones realy salty about IFVs and doesnt like wiesel, you are so wrong lol
Hot missles are not 12.0 material, they just perform to bad at that br.
The HOT missle is a 8.3 missle in itself as seen in the RakJPz 2 , which in itself has quite the favourable silhouette as well. Not to mention Hot being affected by soft kill systems and it literaly just not going anywhere at higher brs. HOT 3 wont make much of a difference since it will get countered constantly
Considering the br of the wiesel 1a4 & 1a2. This one would propably be around 9.3-.9. not more. You believing otherwise is a joke. All other vehicles at that BR are performing way better then a wiesel
It’s actually much less this version use this mag and not the bigger ammo box
Which at most there is 5 to 8 rounds in it.
As for missiles that can be carried it’s unknown how much it could store internally the 6+ is just based on the 1A2.
Btw the bigger ammo box is still compatible with the gun so ther is still the possibility that it can be implemented, only issue is that there is no accurate ammo count for the ammo capacity there for both the small mag and the bigger ammo bix is unknown.
hot3/pars (with BM guidance). Nothing like the jaguar.
i heavily doubt that seeing how many atgms the wielsel tow carries.
by what? Only aps can counter them, they are tandem charged. It’s also optically guided, meaning no beam riding so no lws (as long as gaijin doesn’t BS it, but that’s another topic…)
they are too low br…
a better wiesel tow (9.7 and too low br for obvious reasons) with apds-fs autocanon, thermal, ir tracking, crewless turret, and overall better missiles, yeah, good luck trying making anyone believing that. did i mention ammo boxes?
they aren’t manned by german players and playing with german teams, that’s why…
like you said, wiesel tow, this uses a whole turret system with an atgm launcher a huge sight system that weights at least 200 kg an autocannon and a new mechanism, wich would hinder the hull weight, adding extra weight altough it is possible its probably not recommended
this is warthunder, where “dont be seen” is really fuckin funny to hear when vast majority of maps force 100-200m engagement ranges
and when theres no teammates to hide behind youre a midget with a 30mm and some atgms that dies to .50 cal
if gaijin dont change shit about ammo cookoff when it comes to ATGMs then getting hit in the atgms will still kill the wiesel. Puma VJTF is facing similar issue where ammo cookoff for the 30mm detonates spikes and blows off tracks. The wiesel is pure paper and that turret is pretty massive
different tanks have different things in them. Just because the Wiesel 1a2 is able to smush in so many tows doesnt mean this one will have the same ability to do so. Plus HOT3 is a differently sized missile to TOWs
A wiesel with a 20mm that cant pen anything that isnt light tank or SPAA and a wiesel with tows at 9.7 is too low for you? lol ok
