Okay… So why is it getting Spikes then?
4x FnF at 12.7 and no DIRCM is pointless vs the AH-64E. (even if its 12.3, we have no 12.3 ground vehicles, so would only be of use at 12.7)
Can we just get LMM only version please

Because there’s no such thing as a stormer that can only operate Martlet. They’re interchangeable ammo types.

I think Khorne means that they would have a Stormer HVM (Starstreaks only) and a Stormer HVM (late) (Starstreaks and LMM)
Rather than adding LMM to the existing Stormer HVM.

Either that or having one with only LMMs, because that one could 100% sit at a lower BR than the one with Starstreaks
It’s the same as with the Type 81, having one with IR only and one with ARH and IR
Eh… maybe in the past, but with the current state of starstreaks… with the exception of anti-heli work. The LMMs would probably be the better weapon.
Starstreaks + LMM would be a reasonable combo for a 10.3 SPAA currently imo.
Starstreak only, im hard pressed to justify why its a higher BR than the Rapier. Certainly why its 10.3

im not sure, starstreaks are worse to use since they got physics while still having phasing issues, I’d want to see what range they give the martlets but the proxy fuse would make them more useful. plus the AT capability would likely have it reclassed as a TD and factor into the BR as well

With the Spikes it would sit at the same BR as the AH-129D (12.7)

Britain has 0 12.3 tanks. meaning if its 12.3, it means uptier the limited 12.0 lineup to 12.3 or using it at 12.7.
Also, ALL FnF helis are currently 12.7+ currently.
So without 4x FnF missile, it oculd be 11.7 and used alongside the actual 11.7 vehicles

Furthermore, there is no performance distinction between the early‑ and late‑variant airframes. The sole difference lies in the missiles, which are unlocked in the final row of modifications.

As far as I know all service variants only carry 4 at most. But I haven’t researched it much further than looking at current loadouts in the south Korean navy.

If spikes are removed it basically turns into slightly better kiowa or little bird.
From my experience with fire snake 90 i don’t think it will actually be much better than SAPHE on apkws
So 10.3 or 10.7 depending how much faith you have in 76mm heat
Any chance the Spike NLOS get removed from the Wildcats loadout in general?
The AH64E Guardian is a far more capable CAS platform than the AW159, so there is already very little incentive to use it in the first place. Now with it loosing MITL, it lost it’s sole defining gimmick and imo atp it would be far better to give it a lower BR by removing the FNF missiles.
Britain could make great use of a helicopter situated around 11.7 or even lower, which would fill the gap between the Lynx and Apache.

(AH-64D is now finally 11.7, but would still make it an interesting side-grade to use over it, rather than a straight downgrade compared to the AH-64E)
