AW159 Wildcat HMA2: The Cat with Many Claws!

I reckon it will be, with just 4x Spikes

6km from a ground platform, 8+ from a heli

Might be ground launch?

Ah, aight, makes sense

All I remembered was constantly seeing the 6km+ range, which would likely translate to 6km with extra dumb flight range for Gaijin

Gaijin: self destructs after 5km flight distance

Loses sight of target for 1ms, self destructs

Will the AH-64E be receiving Spike NLOS too?

Are the objectively better JAGMs not enough?

Ok, I gave Starstreaks a go for a few matches, as I hadn’t do so for a while

They really butchered their flight behaviour, so I would definitely agree that Martlets would be better in most use cases

Against low flying targets the Starstreaks still feel fine, but against high alt targets they really need an atrocious amount of manual leading to hit anything beyond like 3km

Gaijin really needs to work on missile autopilot/tracking behaviour, I don’t get how they can make SAMs so incredibly stupid

the manufacturer(the people who made it) states the pike NLOS has MITL

That doesn’t matter, Gaijin doesn’t want them to have MITL

They removed MITL from LMURs as well

they removed mitl from ALL helicopters tho

Yes, because they don’t want helis to have MITL, so they treat the NLOS the same way

Gaijin is aware of the Spikes capabilities but it is an active choice to not implement it and it’s not without reason.

They sure do want

Yeah they’ll still be 12.7 with half as many Spikes, that weigh twice as much, and fly slower than Spike ER.

thankfully

This isn’t in dispute, simply MITL will only come for helicopters when most nations have examples.

Fair enough

@Smin1080p_WT Any plans for the AH-64D-I to get it as well?
