You have no armor but you are low profile with a great gun.
Use it for ambushing and sniping.
Um I think you need to explain how the entire tree is suffering…
I dont really see the issue with it, not really had too many problems with its BR myself.

Because entire soviet tree suffers from same issues - no gun depression, no elevation speed, no backwards speed, no reload, no survivability, no nothing. + lifted into space brs.
Why would i suffer on soviet tanks if i can play on posh nato tanks which are better in everything?
Don’t get me wrong, there are good soviet tanks, but you have to buy them)

Those hardly make them “suffer.” And the “no survivability” part is, forgive me, comically exaggerated. At WORST they are no less survivable than any others, comparing like to like.
Never got the hate for the ASU-85. It’s a very solid sniper, between the rangefinder, very high velocity APHE, and HEAT. Yeah, the mobility and armor sucks, but just think of it like a Nashorn. Yeah, most maps don’t cater to it, but that’s a map issue, not a endemic problem with the tank. If you get a map where it does work, it does just fine.

Maybe someone should of gotten the soviets to make tanks to western tank doctrine.

The point is they are modeled correctly.
Yup. They didnt design their tanks with “how will this be in a video game” in mind.
They made them in a way to help support their doctrine on dealing with flat fields.

The only stuff i have seen changed for balance is reload due to human factors.
Armor and what not is usually due to lack of publicly available documents.
