Only looking at regularly obtainable premiums around late WW2 BRs, you have:
Tiger Ost (5.7), Tiger West (5.7)and Pz.Bef.Wg.VI(P) (5.7), and Tiger II SLA16 as heavy tanks
Jagdpanther BFW (6.3) as a TD
Ostwind Ost (5.3) as SPAA
Do335B-2 (5.7) as a heavily armed strike aircraft
Fw190D-13 (5.0 but easily holds its own up to about 5.7) as a fighter-bomber (using custom loadouts you can have 4x SC50 and 1x SC500)
Ju288 with big funny bomb (6.0/6.3)
Adding fomo premiums and event vehicles:
Tempest Mk.V (5.7) as a pure fighter (no bombs)
Elefant as a heavyily armoured TD
VK4501(P) (5.3) as a heavy tank
VFW paper canon TD
He177 BP bomber
What gaps do we have here?
A late Bf109 as a premium would probably be welcome since Germany lacks a regularly available premium prop fighter above 5.0. Lots of sub variants missing so plenty of chance to add one.
Panther premium? All the tank premiums are heavies. Would be nice to add some variety.
Me262 premium variants would be welcome… but better to fill out the tech tree since we don’t have anything like as many variants in that as we should.
I think the new arado fills a niche for a premium strike aircraft that can perform in the 6.3+ range, perhaps not the biggest gap in premiums but doesn’t seem totally redundant.
Plus not every addition to the game needs to fill a gap, and having more than one option in the same niche is OK.

Won’t happen because it would be in competition with the two fronts pack.
Imho the next BR to get the “new starter packs” will be around 6.7. For Germany that’s gonna mean more premium Tiger IIs imho.

Probably wouldn’t sell that well. 109s (apart from perhaps the F-4) require a LOT of skill to use effectively due to their characteristics and weak armament.
Also late 109s are very much inferiour to the undertiered allied props that are also compressed into this BR

They seem alright in GRB with gunpods. Especially the 30mm ones if you can aim

Probably the only 109s worthy of premium would be the likes of Gallands upgunned F, and the down-gunned E-8 (E-1.bought up to near E-7 standard but retaining only 4x MG).
Packs would be likely be more productive if Gaijin ever looks below high tiers again - E-3 Battle of Britain, G-2 North Africa, K-4 Reich Defence? . C&P would be offset by unique schemes and extras.
But that’s digressing…back to AR-234
Dont understand or support this addition. Not because it’s a premium but because the gun pack was tested on a standard B so could/should be added to the tech tree plane, leaving the B-2/N for the FOMO brigade. Alternatively add the guns to both but make the it a pack vehicle with the value being in the extras.

I think Ace variants would sell. With original paintjobs.
Also, the bf 109 G-2 is missing in action. It used to be a super rare pack prem in the early days of WT. Now its gone to Sweden or something, while Germany only has the tropical version with dust filters and slightly reduced output. Was one of the more numerous 109’s.

Very hyped for this… A decently cool premium without locking a whole unique plane behind a paywall. i do wish it had its night fighting radar
availability isn’t the argument here, gaijin has added enough weapons or modifications in the past to vehicles which resulted in increasing their br (either done by gaijin themselves, or through players getting more kills). i am just pointing out this is a double standard by gaijin.
essentially almost all German bombers with external bomb racks should be able to carry the WB 151 or WB 81Z, it would be ridiculous to create duplicate variants just because of this weapon so they can give it a higher br rating.

It’s not an argument for you, but for the majority of players, the BR of the Coelian has no impact on their line-ups.
If Gaijin thinks the gunpod on the Arado is worth a BR increase to 7.0, that would impact a lot of players.
Edit: welp, looks like the premium Arado is getting 6.7
Conveniently adds a premium 6.7 bomber when Germany already has a 6.3 premium bomber during the same update that bomber damage models are improved.
Just shows that serious flaws with the game won’t be fixed unless there’s a financial benefit from it.
Also the “detailed” cockpit has comic sans. This is the effort Gaijin puts in when they could just write the text by hand like it was in real life.

Let’s wait and see if small bombers like the Arados even end up getting buffed.
I mean, the Arado cockpits are still way more modelled than a lot of other bombers, even new bombers like the Tu-95M have hideous placeholder cockpit
Also, am I missing something? I know the Ho 229 has comic sans in the cockpit, but I can’t find any comic sans in the Arados cockpit
