I already have the F5C and had a great experience with it. However I am looking at the F20 maybe for something new, or for something top tier to mess around in custom matches.
Does anyone have any tips for succeeding with the F20?
Nah, the gameplay is rather similar.
You still have to rely on the same guns, since you can either carry only 2 radar missiles+29l or 69l, which can be easily flared.
Not to mention that you get to eat high performance radar missiles and even fox3.
Given that the f5c is able to let you research through the whole tree, i ain’t seeing any point of spending another 70 dollars for it.
+1, if you got the money, spend it on a premium from a different tree or like ground

f20 has okay radar, feels better than f16 one, too bad you only get 2 7f
Its the same radar as the F-18
its rwr can’t tell what the enemy is. just “PD” or “AI”.

I’ve played 1000 games in f4s and I’d say it is still a good choice
I usually bring 5+2+gun pod, climb sideway to 5000m and shoot sparrows at the multipathers after killing those at high alt
The sparrows can be immune to multipath when being launched at a high angle and hence can easily get kills, given that very few people at this know how to notch
