Anti radiaton misile

Well, I’m glad they’re adding anti-radiation missiles, but they should really include them on almost all top-tier vehicles so everyone can enjoy the update. Also, tell me which vehicles can have them so I can make a list🥹

From what i could see:

(AGM-45 seems to be ingame but not shown on loadout previews, and i don’t own any shrike carriers)

Comments

  • ‹#› for band coverage
  • ‹{…}› for variants of the same missile body with a differing seeker (mainly a thing for soviet era missiles)
  • ‹SUn› stands for Soviet Union
  • ‹Mys› stands for Malaysia
  • ‹CHe› stands for Switzerland
  1. YJ-91 and Kh-31 seem to be agressively lofting. They’ve got good speed, but their seeker tends to lose lock very easily. This seems to be getting gradually fixed. Also, their manœwrability is pretty meh, so best shoot from far away.
  2. CM-102, except in band coverage, is a nigh equivalent to the HARM
  3. LD-10 is useless right now. It’s a full copy and past (except for seeker logic) of the SD-10 (PL-12), it’s explosive mass is tiny (<9.5kg, TNT-eq ~12kg), and will often impact the ground before coming close to hitting.
  4. The seekers will lock onto the strongest/closest radar emission, which, when spawning, is usually friendly anti-air radars. This will hopefully be fixed, as some aircraft could slew their missiles direcly to RWR, whilst others could select from picked up sources.
  5. Hit chance of an aware AA is pretty low, as you just have to go radar silent. Though, this achieves the Supression part of SEAD.
  6. Some aircraft might be getting the more modern AGM-88E2 and AGM-88G, whilst others (mainly the Typhoons) will hopefully receive more missiles as 2 is just sad.
  7. Germany might soonish (not this update probably) be receiving the ARMIGER, for its Tornados and Typhoons.
  8. This list might become outdated depending on how fast and unpredictably gaijin moves.
  9. So, with some testing, missiles seem to like doing go arounds now
  10. Ik this wasn’t really the purpose of ur thread, further testing with bigger missiles shows that they sometimes have issues detonating close enough to properly take the target out

Anyways, thank you for letting me indulge in my autism:)
