Anti-Cheat, Privacy, and Fair Play: Clarifying the Facts

And without an actual clear as day and glass clarification which info it doesnt check and take, this pretty much was lotta words but nothing said. Many peoples worries about very confidential and private info being “stolen” is very valid

And if it is scanning user directories and files without the user knowing.

They haven’t been transparent about that; they haven’t responded to any of the allegations.

So, is the anti cheat against the European Union laws, against the EULA of the game or what was it.

Viking AC is more than likely breaking EU laws

Deliberately dodged the allegations i’d say, if theres nothing to worry about, why don’t they adress it?

well thats one of the big concerns but what about the other alleged thing?

And what about viking ac? Any info, i am worried about that

Why don’t trying to prove it with a 3rd party company in order to verify your anti cheat ? In this case you don’t need to explain how your AC works and community see you are not stealing our data.

Yea there is worse allegations than this, is there any statement on allegations regarding using classified or sensitive documents to “buff” in game vehicles?

Not sure if I catch the question.

Which is way overtuned and makes it so you can’t sometimes see enemies you clearly should be able to

I hope competitors will emerge as soon as possible. I don’t care about any anti-cheat scanning on my game-only PC that has no personal files at all. I just want Gaijin to stay away from anything creative.

I have like 50 clips of this being just plain wrong, if i had enough effort and compressing them to send i would, but thats excessive

It’s extremely annoying

I’d argue this is more significant in aerial battles rather than ground as the point of WVR combat is being able to ID aircraft visually without having to ping their RWR. This fog mechanic forces players to rely on RNG (scouting/marking) or the use radar (if they don’t have IRST) to search for bandits.

Aircraft models should be detectable at all ranges with the model of the vehicle getting smaller as range grows. The fog mechanic in ground is also annoying but I haven’t had much issues with it compared to Air Realistic Battles.

Sadly gaijin being gaijin they patented a lot of mechanics

it just simply isn’t. I very rarely see enemies pop out of existance unless they are at extreme distances on large maps. Keen vision exists for a reason and is just as applicable to air as it is to ground. aircraft disappear if they are inline with the sun. Prior to that one youtube video pointing it out, literally nobody complained about the system lol.

Sure adore a fat F15E not really rendering to me even while like 5km infront of me
