Not sure if we still needs in, already got lav in 10.0, and 2 spaa in 9.0. unless they decided to move mim72 to 8.3, then this would be a perfect aa for 9.0 lineup with SGT.Yorker

Could see this as a solid upgrade over the Chaparral at 9.3 (or even lower if it got earlier stinger variants)
Easy +1. I’d also like to see the Laser Avenger as a gimmick squadron vehicle similar to the F-117A.

Nice replacement to the Improved Champarral and in pair vehicle to the Type 93. Can’t imagine the duel between these two, except this one can engage ground targets.

Should be one br step lower than Type 93 due to lacking the contrast lock mode, unless Stingers are significantly better against planes.
LONG overdue addition! Stingers may still be artificially nerfed into the ground, but this would be very fun. +1

Ooo two options… One stinger based one at 9.3/7 and one 10.3/7, that’ll close off 2 BR gaps instantly and both will be adequate!/effective options for US.
Yeah though the US is one of the last countries that needs a new 9.3 SPAA. Additionally, I much prefer the M6 Linebacker for 9.7 than this.

If I recall there were multiple different missile configurations tested on the Avenger, so maybe they could act as researchable modifications or foldered upgrades?
