9.3 to 9.7 is perfect BR for stingers
No, stingers should not being facing early-coldwar and WW2 aircraft. Stingers should be 10.0 minimum.
+1 but add at least 0.3+ BR
We already have equipment from the middle of the Cold War on 8.0, and from the Gulf War and Afghanistan on 9.0.
maybe with starstreak for example?
That’s like saying the Abrams should be 4.3 cause it was made in the same year as the Concept 3. Just because there’s a few mid-late coldwar vehicles at 8.0 doesn’t mean we need modern SAMs at 8.0.
The Stinger is not a modern SAM.
In service: 1989–present.
There’s mig21F13 at 9.3. The craft that cannot hold speed to pull multiple stingers and cannot CAP effectively nor survive properly compared to a 100sp AA lol
Vehicles are balanced about capability, not DoI.
So when do you consider a weapon that’s → still being used ← to not be modern? Is the F-22 modern? it’s nearly 30 years old afterall.
Regardless, year of creation isn’t what people are talking about 99% of the time when they say “early/mid/late coldwar”. What they’re talking about is → the capability of the vehicle ← . Concept 3 is still considered a WW2 vehicle by most despite being built in 1980, because it’s built using WW2 technology and has WW2 capabilities.
I can’t believe I just explained the most obvious common sense fact to a forum user.
Exactly why stingers should be 10.0+
Do you struggle against AIM-9B?
By which fa18 is in service for years.
At 9.3, we have mig21f13 from early 1960s
At 9.0, we have f3h from mid 1950s
The loong gap
Dud doesn’t know the difference between aim9b and 2x4*stinger?
Lmao.
You struggle to notch a 13G missile.
Buddy, it’s not a radar missile
Dud notches an ir missile?
Oh, mw, play the f13. See how it does in pulling/
Yes?
Ever heard of kinematically defeating a missile?
Dude, you can notch IR missiles too to kinematically defeat them.
Something tells me this guy has never played a BR with missiles.
