Compromise, both get the inferior engines, but get the 229 engines with the engine upgrade, that would make sense.
Well it wouldn’t make sense because the F-15I never used the engine, so that’s pointless
Neither does not giving the engines to the US, they’ve done this kind of thing before in the name of balance.
That is true and they could do that, but it doesn’t make sense to make it a mod for the F-15I or the E, they could just give us those engines stock for both planes to make everyone happy
another point about this is how at top tier in air US is already almost always mirrored, whereas Israel is not, meaning you will have matches where the best plane by an absurd amount is only on one team

Yes that’s also an important point.
Jets with such high velocity threaten those who fly low. But they have to do BVR first with other jets with similar energy, then they would be able to engage other targets. In my opinion, the outcome of a match depends on the BVR in most sitauion, the team win BVR would have an advantage over the other team.
If only F-15I has 229 engines, the side with Israel would have overwhelming advantage in BVR. That’s a disaster :(
