American F-15E Strike Eagle Engines

Sniper XR targeting pod in 2000’s would be 2.5 gen FLIR like targeting pod on chinese 4th gen fighter or not full 3rd gen FLIR thermal ?

My personally Sniper XR FLIR thermal resolution better Litening II. But same Litening III ?

FLIR thermal resolution higher Litening III ?

Sniper Advanced Targeting Pod - Sensor Enhancement or Sniper ATP-SE full 3rd gen FLIR thermal

So now A-10C equipped Sniper XR ATP-SE ?

To keep you updated on where that conversation went.
and no it wasn’t a 2.5

Also the SE package was for sensor upgrades and implementing dual band data link.

Litening III doesn’t have higher resolution than Litening ER/AT.

Afaik, Litening II base model is 320x256, Litening ER/AT are 640x512 and Litening III is 640x480. And then make it square instead to fit MFDs. The thought that Litening III is an improvement over Litening II is only correct if we are talking about the base model, but what we have modelled in-game are in fact Litening ER/AT and III models just with the “II” as name, because Gaijin is lazy I guess? But As of now no, Litening III would bring nothing to the table compared to the in-game Litening “II” other than maybe different zoom levels (the max zoom would be definitely a lot better, going from in-game Litening II zoom of ~x50 to almost x100).

Do yall have some sources or some images that provide a real life RWR MFD?

You mean like the SA (Situational Awareness) page?

look at the bug report

maybe in F-15SA manual there is, but it secret.

The HUD does look fairly properly scaled, the thing about the Wide Angle Raster display is that they are meant to allow for the Navigation pod’s Thermal / low light output to be overlaid with a wider real FoV, in the time before high performance Hemet mounted Night Vison sets were available and able to survive in an air combat arena.

But since overlays aren’t an implemented feature the relevant displays don’t actually do anything.

maybe it also capable of more space to target point/etc

dose gaijin accept or maybe even inspire from DCS maybe that HUD would be better quality?

no. that’s the point

So… now that both the F-15E and I got a very huge nerf. Basically bringing them to realistic drag. Can the E get its 229’s?

I see, I’m afraid if that’s right, it’s inevitable. In fact, it was also true that the current flight performance on the Dev server was weirdly good.

Now we may confirmed US F-15E will gets with F100-PW-220 as “F-15E Early” by they’re passing comments
gotta grind Ra’am
farewell my beloved Strike Eagle

Sorry, but what comments did confirm that the F-15E will be stuck with the -220 engines?

Just wondering if I missed anything.

EDIT: if you mean that Gaijin hasn’t replied yet, Gaijin usually only replies to these kinds of “hot topics” after the dev server is over. Iirc that is also what happened during the entire M1A2 SEPv2 situation.
