Hatch
No radar, manually targeted, is basically a baby Falcon.
Turret is from this french SPAAG if you wanted more details on it, AML S530: A Mobile Air Defense Solution
Watch gaijin add it, give it broken ap belt for some reason and put it at 8.3 and then copy past more russian spaa into the uk tree because they “have to fill the gaps”…
Genuinely be a nice 7.7 spaa
+1 a great option to fill in part of the awful spaa gap that the British tree is currently struggling with.
would probably do well for the 6.0 area if it gets DM63
bit like the AMX-10P
you cannot get APDS on a 20x102 gun
10P is a 20x139 gun
Our prayers have been answered. Another 7.0 - 7.7 contender!
There are APDS-rounds chambered in 20x102mm (Mk 149 and Mk 244 APDS). The question is if they cycle in a conventional loading system or if they only work in an auxiliary powered system which they currently only operate in (Phalanx CIWS).
We already had the Falcon for 7.7, but for some reason Gaijin insisted on making it a light tank…
Had. And sadly it doesn’t appear like it will ever drop down again.
Crazy how they added it to 7.7 with the apds belt, then kept uptiereing it and refusing to just remove the the belt and keep it where it is. They do this all the time, f’up balancing of a vehicle, try to solve the problem with some sloppy fix then abandon it and move on, leaving so many vehicles especially at low tiers either useless, redundant or OP
+1 Would be a perfect addition for the British Tech Tree to fill the gaps in the SPAA Line
No radar and 20mm? 7.7 is too high. That’s where the Falcon should have been after they removed the apds and before adding the weak radar.
6.3 - ish depending on turret specs and ROF.
The radar is terrible. Won’t be using the Falcon ever again unless they drop the BR.
Gaijin is terrible at balancing and making changes.
Armor protection was designed to withstand The Russian 14.5mm heavy MG can penetrate up to 49mm of armor at 10m and 46mm at 100m, so this thing actually has decent armor, at least enough to withstand being attacked by planes with low caliber autocannons
finally something the british mains will be able of using for their 7.7 lineups instead of a WW2 Skink, would be cool at 7.3/7.7.
it was actually a good decision to take away it’s APDS, it was a balance change, a really good one.
Yup. And hopefully it will allow it to go down in BR.
not if it keeps it’s full stabilizer, there’s not an 8.0 tank with stabilizer, most of them are at 8.3 and just the Centurions have stabilizers at lower BRs.
