At the moment, yes. It is also the current serial production variant.
Eh we’ve seen more, also we do not know much of composite inserts. It is even speculated boron-carbide inserts is going to replaced with silicon-carbide. Without knowing qualities of inserts and their placement, determining Line-of-Sight thickness does not means much.
And here you can see earlier design’s, MTR, FTR, PV1 and PV2, hull ammunition placement. Earlier prototypes were not equipped with isolated hull ammunition rack.
Pretty much yes. All the turret ammunition is stored in bustle-rack behind blast door.
Also armor separating ammunition bustle and crew station is somewhat thick, I don’t have access to my files right now but we’ve seen that there were two overlapping plates separating sections. I’ll post once I can.
Here you can see placement of both hull and turret ammunition.
What kind of auto tracking does it have? Because some MBTs already in game (like the Type 10, type 90, Leopard 2A7, etc) are equipped with it IRL, but not in game (yet?)
Yep, we’ve also seen the basket in recent images too.
It is not really specified what kind of target tracking it has. Tracking feature is mentioned on BMC’s website as well as on Gunner/Commander Periscope brochures but thats about it.
Today we’ve also seen isolated hull ammunition racks too. There seems to be 20 pieces of ammunition can be stored on the hull. Each sheets has its own containers and individually stored. I’m not sure if it actually counts as isolated racks, I would appreciate if anyone knows/has other examples of isolated ammunition racks on the hull.
Italy already has Turkish T129 helicopter and F-104 Turkish Air Force, so it’s possible to add them to Italy. However, if they treat Turkey like they said they’re treating Singapore, it would probably end up as a premium or squadron tank in Korean tech tree since the Altay was based on the K2 development data.
T129 and F-104 were connected to Italy on way or another, Altay is not. I reiterate what I’ve already said, Italy already got Hungary and Romania there is no need for another nation inside Italian Tech Tree. Spain and Turkey can and must go into their own Tech Trees.
Singapore and Turkey is not really in the same situation. If anything Turkey and Korea is more comparable. Neither Korea nor Turkey really needs each other’s vehicles, both can have their Tech Trees.
Thats fair assumption, still I rather have it on Turkish Ground Forces Tech Tree. Also Korea already got quite a bit K2 variants on their own.
Turkey is literally a major military nation that can have among the biggest TT in the game.
You can NOT just compare it to Singapore, its just like if you say that Italy should be a sub tree of France, it makes no sense
