Steel Rod APFSDS with carbide core

100mm 3BM-25 APFSDS [1978]
Instead of being 380mm Steel Rod like 3BM-20, it now features 60mm Tungsten Penetrator at the top of the penetrator rod whilst the remaining 320mm penetrator rod is still made from Steel. It features a bigger carbide core than 3BM-20. The propellant seems to have been also improved to make up for increased weight.

Hard to explain the design but it’s features both, WHA and Steel Penetration elements.

Very little information but it might be early version of M1000A1 since the projectile weight and penetrator weight match except the velocity.

The best WHA APFSDS in existence for the 100mm Rifled gun. Israel designed it for Romania, specifically for their TR-85M1 tanks

This is the Romanian designation for the jointly developed M309 APFSDS with Israel. It’s essentially M413 inside 100mm Sabot.

Multiple sources about the Peruvian T-55 ‘Leon-2’ upgrade mention the tank receiving a new FCS capable of firing ‘M43A1 and M-43A3 APFSDS.’ I can’t find any 100mm round with this name though, have you seen or got anything related to this?

Here’s a source, page 34 has the Leon-2.

Do you have any source that DTW2-100 is a licensed copy from M1000A1?

I have found some traces of M43A7 round. According to Peruvian claims, it penetrates 400 mm at 2000 m. The sources are not the most reliable, but they might point you in the right direction.
