And then Gaijin will add uparmored Ajax with weight 38 tons))

will it have the armour packages and RWS included as modifications?

Currently, you only have one large storage box and a 4mm thick outer armor, without an inner lining.

iirc Smin said it’s the basic package

thats a shame; I’d like to see the MCO and PSO packages come to the game for it, either as modifications or later vehicles.

Perhaps even the camo cover for it too ((which i think is barracuda))

Finally a real devblog. Gaijin’s been a little late with the start of the Devblogs this season. And what better way to start than with a British vehicle we’ve been asking for since forever.

My issue with the Desert Warrior is that it launches its ATGM in a way that impedes you when trying to use them close up. That’s before all its other deficiencies.

It’s going to get murdered by Soviet 12.7 and 14.5mm MG if it goes into the game with 4mm. But I’m assuming its armour is simply a work in progress.

Won’t be a first time. Gaijin still hasn’t given the Badger its armour inserts despite it having had them in the test server and SANDEF using the inserts IRL as well.

Are there any plans to make the acoustic sensors functional? It’d be pretty neat if it could give a bearing to helicopters, though the Thales datasheet says it works out to 2km so it might not be useful outside of recognising a heli rush

Hopefully it does get added, i imagine it would be very good for infantry

That is likely the idea. The timed fuse shells will be of use clearing windows. Though an SPAA may be more useful in these urban maps.

4mm of structural steel strikes again. Lol.

Gotta love how this and the Chieftain 900’s simulated armour are the same thickness as tin mudguards or a tin can of water.
