I mean Gaijin has said before that if a ship was laid down then it’s possible to be added in game.
I don’t see why they couldn’t add this, since all it would really do is allow more people to take off/land on the carrier.

J-15T must be insanely heavy then, being the first to get reinforced like that, looking back on how even Su-33 was a lot heavier than regular flankers without CATOBAR equipment
Afaik not really.
The Chinese use a LOT of Composites compared to the Russians. It keeps their planes much lighter.
Her strength would be in nuke mode bit more defensive capability & closer aligned with the other carriers esspecally with what’s coming.
I should write a suggestion as a aircraft AI spawn option.
Composites can only do so much, additional reinforcements would cancel out a lot of the weight savings anyways
I mean if it’s for balancing it makes sense.
If all the new carriers are gonna be super well protected then all Nations should be able to spawn in peace.
True Chinese Flankers in General are considered better in a lot of categories compared to there Russian sisters. However if Soviet Union never collapsed USSR likely would have gone down a similar path as Russia have been improving the flanker.
It’s two very different schools of thought applied to the same aircraft family. It’s very interesting to see the pros and cons.
The carriers also need to do emergency maneuvers like how they would in real life. Increasing to emergency speed and making tactical turns also other ships should do the same. That plus trying to shoot down the missiles.
However you should be given a warning if your trying to take off that the ship is in a emergency state.
Most certainly.
If you end up making that suggestion, ping me when it’s finished and I’ll check it out, I’m very interested.
Thanks should be easy there are images of her hull in the 90s I will wait until the update stream concerning the new carriers (would suck if they dropped Ulyanovsk in there as well and I started)

I look forward to it. ^^
Assuming, of course, they aren’t shown in the stream-
Possibly exaggerated, thats a pretty huge jump considering it would actually require more reinforcement, as well as additional weight from other systems like radar and RWR. If it was actually that much lighter there would be a decent jump in range
And TV as a source… might as well use history channel to say F-22 is not affected by gravity due to reverse engineering alien technology
It’s slightly different, since this is State-Owned Media dedicated to the PLA.
Sadly, China doesn’t let a lot infomation about their planes out.
But if you have anything other than assumptions, I’d be glad to see them.
I think even Gaijin used them as a source there is a little bit of a empathies for it to be true because before it was all Chinese flankers are Soviet copies and if you open the hood you will see everything written in Russian. That is definitely not true Chinese flankers use domestic parts and systems.
I hear there mothballing a lot of there oldest flankers (ones with Soviet / Russian background) and replacing them with J-20.
CCTV7 and Chinese military newspaper / magazine is a lot of time the best information you can get out side of maybe intelligence stuff.
Well, both gford and nimitz are in the initial devserver files. So that 's neat.
To keep in mind, all three new carriers are using the 9M311 missile and AN/SPS-48 radar as placeholders currently. The Type 730 and Type 1130 CIWS are in the files, but Fujian is using the AK-630 as a placeholder also.
New carriers in the assetviewer:
Fujian has the Type 726 decoy launchers in the Xray, and the AESA antenna too
USS Gerald R. Ford also has AESA modelled - multiple different sized arrays
USS Nimitz made it in !
