Idk, budy. I played a lot in Leo 2A6 and for most of the time i didn’t have much problems dealing with BVM. More frustrating was playing with really bad teams
Look on Leo 2A6 ammo and look on UK and France top tier ammo it should say you something
France is getting fucked with their ammo. If i remember Leclerc S2 didn’t even use OFL 120 F1, it should have OFL 120 F2
Well 2A6 has decent (even if not trancandent; protection and a very good gun. It’s only drawbacks are the optics. I myself play the Leclerc and M1A1. My feeling with the Leclerc against things like the BVM is that it’s mostly outclassed. The BVM can point and click the Leclerc, while the Leclerc itself has to be very precise. And even then, the post damages of the OFL 120 F1 are subpar. The Leclerc is also incredibly nerfed in its mobility, being the second worse at top tier after the challenger 2, which is stupid because it has an engine as powerful as the leopards while being about 10 tons lighter. M1A1 is in a similar place (although at a lower br), and I get a lot of the same things.
I have a similar feeling fighting PLSS or hull down Leo 2 A5 and above as well to be honest, but considering the maps are getting smaller and smaller (with map changes affecting long range), most fights are getting closer and closer where hulldown is not tpreally a thing, so Leo 2s overall I don’t mind fitghting to much

You’re right, I’m just saying the R-27ER being the best missile in the game means that they don’t need their FOX3 if America got an earlier variant of the AIM-120
Im have finger crossed that adding Era 8 to tanks will efect France in good way. Moving SXXI and AZUR to era 8 and giving them F2 round would be dream right know for me
But F-14 and F-15 can’t bring 10 missiles ( F15 : 4x AIM-7 + 4xAIM-9= 8, F-14: I only can bring 6 unless 17G stupid AIM54 / 6 lack range and lack speed AIM7 + 2x AIM9, so total is 8…….SU27 get 10 and 6 of them are the best missile R27ER
if they add amraams it will most likely be the Aim-120A if lucky Aim-120B but if they go all out it it will be the Aim-120C

I don’t think fox 3s will come this update tho. It’s such an important mechanic that it should have been in the teaser, which it has not.
Just be ready for a su27 domination for a few months. Even if top tier will actually get a bit more diverse with 4 new jets plus the still potent mirages, f16 and MiG 29s
Well, wrong. AIM-120A/B/C-4 is even short range then AIM-7F/M/P, the maximum fire range of AIM-120A/B/C-4 is 50km, AIM-7M/P is 70km, so AIM-120A/B/C-4 combat efficiency range may only 1/3 of 50km range
AIM-120A/B/C-3/4 – 27 nmi (50 km)
AIM-120C-5/6/7 – 57 nmi (105 km)
AIM-120D – 86 nmi (160 km)
So the version before AIM-120C-5 actually is the similar, at least range is same, their range is shorter than AIM-7M/P, that’s why USAF F15 still mix loaded AIM-7 with AIM-120 in desert storm, AIM-120 is not that strong as you think, until AIM-120C-5
Stat wise this is true, but in terms of acceleration and the missile not instantly going stupid and flying into the ground like most AIM-7’s have a history of doing, it would be a massive help

There is not major difference between J-11 and su27s, in other word the su 27sk is the J-11a. The major difference is the late verson (last few series) been updated by Belarus 588 Avionics Factory to get the chance to use R-77
