Does the AH-64E now have default value of HIRSS?
The deflector should further lower EGT and reduce IR signature.
yeah it should, but at cost oh high drag, its not modeled
The AIM-92 ATAS modeled in game is a direct copy of the FIM-92E stinger missile. They have same seeker & flight characteristics.
So thats the funny thing, the FIM-92E is actually a copy of the AIM-92 ATAS which is a FIM-92A because gaijin just chose to copy the AIM-92, which was added earlier, to make the ground launched stingers.
There has been a long running open can of worms about gaijin just not modeling modern stingers at all, with even the K preforming like the original FIM-92A, just with a proxy fuse.
As explained in the report, that might be true at the moment. But after the implementation of, for example of the Accepted "Contrast Lock" mechanic the FIM-92A would be unaffected as it does not use the POST seeker. Where the FIM-92E does.
Also if this is the case then more reports should be made to differentiate them as ultimately there are a number of differences that should exist.
its nice that america finally got its ldircm, but i should remind you guys that the way it works ingame its in all likelyhodd unrealistic, especially concering IIR seekers.
it should have higher resolution
you know that aint happening though.
