AH-64E Bugs, suggestions, feedback

I feel like 16x IR will be an excuse to just stop bothering with the other things missing from the AH-64E.
Sure its nice, bur proxy 30mm sounds even nicer.

I think it’s important to not only count the number of missiles, but also the capability of each.

Mi28 gets “only” 8x LMUR, however the missile is more than twice the weight of JAGM-MR and carries a warhead that’s four times more destructive in terms of HE-equivalent (19.2 kg SAP-HE vs 4.81 kg HEAT)

If you need 2 or more JAGM-MR to destroy a tank but only one LMUR then the difference in capability between the two loadouts isn’t as great as you’d think.

That’s just the LMUR though, the strongest of the missiles.

However, SPIKE and PARS are definitely weaker than JAGM and I think it’s fair to want more of them.

I wish they will add ability to switch the seeker mods, the missile looks like an amazing anti heli even without proxy fuze - 7g overload and a lot of speed(overaly much better than AKD-10 which can hit helis quite reliably), but with some new helis getting DIRCM - IR version just wouldnt work. Taking SAL Jagm’s is also a vaste of hardpoint as its much worse than hellfire and you use it only DIRCM helis as IR is definetly better for normal ones. So Gaijin, pls dont be lazy and add a switch button.

Ok, it seems like SAL one has MMW mode, not IR and we know Gaijin refuses to implement MMW guidance. Though i have a question where did IR one came from, is it real? And maybe it can use SAL mode as well actually?

Edit: So it is a trimode seeker - IR/SAL/MMW, so SAL should be switchable and maybe later even MMW can be added

Proxy / HOB functionality is needed ASAP.
I just fired a salvo of 6 JAGM-MR(IR) at a BUK TELAR , all of them missed , not even hits, they missed because the aiming point is raised when the launcher is deployed. It only happens in certain angles tho.

Increasing the LDIRCM range on all helis (Z10ME, AH64E, Mi-28NM) might also be a thing to consider.
Right now they are NOT reliable at all, only 50% of SAMs pass by without causing damage

Explain how agm-179MR (sal) is worse than a normal hellfire? It literally got double the range of the hellfire

See that is gaijins work around for not adding mmw. They switched the normal agm-179a with agm-179MR cause it has an ir mode to it, this makes it so gajin won’t have to add mmw to missiles like the brimstone

Has also been reported.

Do you have a replay? This should be reportable. As it was previously reported and fixed with Ships as well.

Also going to try reporting the HSRL(quad), to replace the M229 for the AH-64E. The main benefit is that it should reduce the weight of a loaded rail by ~50%

Way worser damage.

Even more reports

the current one is called M299, and its not replaced with anything yet.
honestly its too much

It’s at very least listed as the “Single Launcher System” and is evidently being considered and Since we have the JAGM-MR the current configuration of the AH-64E(?V6?) isn’t “exactly” to spec, at least since an intended configuration has not yet been specified.

I don’t remember that ever actually occurring though lol

also, if they ever add infantry, it would be hilarious to take out AGM-114R-9Xs xD

Dev server got extended.
It also got updated to .25 , no visible changes to the AH-64E (as far as im aware).
Hopefully gaijin doesnt use 16JAGM-MR as an excuse to NOT work on the AH-64E

JAGM penetration is too low Fixed
Incorrect MAWS name Fixed but broken again

Do we know if this has been pushed to Dev?

Also did it only effect the penetration; or also increase the fragmentation as well?

only the penetration
also there is a mess with MAWS right now they tried to fix two thing and broke two more

no, Yes and yes moving on.

Yes it has a laser seeker as well as a radar seeker, the reason its ir is because MMW can see through smoke and trees. There is Literally nothing that can stop than missile except for interception and hard kill aps systems. Even then the LOFT is so heavy that most APS systems cant react in time to stop the missile. IF it had MMW in game it would would make tanks suffer do to there in ability to fight back.

And MMW blocking smoke; For example, NATO 66mm M81.

The advanced development program for the M81 grenade was conducted from 1987 to 1992. in the transition to full scale development, the Operational Requirements Document (ORD) required the grenade to provide IR and MM instead of just MM protection The Grenade, Launcher, Smoke: Millimeter/Infrared (MM/IR) Screening, M81 (Figure 17) was type classified in 1995 and is scheduled to begin production in 1998

Which makes it no different from an IIR implementation, assuming that the Wavelength of the seeker is abstracted and not taken into account, the same way the bandwidth of chaff packets is completely abstracted and effects all radar sets equally.
