AGM-84H is 90% useless even with line-of-sight firing. The first thing the missile does is dive down no matter what, so it loses sight on even small obstacles like buildings or hills.
This is pretty ridiculous. I guess I’ll take my 30SM2 and go wait in line for a match because who in their right mind wants to play top tier USA right now? It’s really that bad. Gaijin isn’t even trying to hide it anymore.
Gaijin can keep closing all the bugs from people expecting at least a semi-functional missile if they want, but their game is broken. Plain and simple.

You do get that the SLAM-ER alongside the GBU-15/AGM-130, AGM-154, Walleye ERDL and others use the same WDL (Walleye Data-link) Unit, and that relevant aircraft as low as ~8.7 (A-4B) would theoretically benefit from MITL / LOAL, mechanics being implemented.
Well it’s not like Gaijin added it’s actual US contemporary to the R-73 in the AIM-95 Aglile, is it. Nor has it been treated like the repeatedly nerfed the AIM-9M, with both the “Refinement” to the Smokeless motor modeling, and Breaking the IRCCM among other issues with lock-on range and pre-lock / Radar slaved on FOV.
The otherwise lack of a kinematic improvement over the AIM-9D (in specific edge cases), but more generally the AIM-9L is felt. And besides relative to the other 5th Gen IR missiles the Baseline AIM-9X is really nowhere near their level of performance and will absolutely be no contest in any regard, similar to the AMRAAM.

LOAL will benefit a lot more then just those ordnance and in general will make the life on the ground
Totally missing the point, if we would add LOAL to the SLAM-ER and others, it would also come for:
LMUR, KH-38MT, JAGM, BA-11, CM-502KG, KD-88A, KH-59M/ME…
This would buff cas levels to INSANE levels for every country, and basically every aircraft in grb would have to be rebalanced.
Not to mention i think all I mentioned would also have 2 way DL.
The aim-9m is good lmao, it only lacks behind in maneuveability but is better at both tracking, range and being invisible.
Also the first bug report would litterally be a nerf and is labeled not a bug?

Agreed, but we could receive later iterations of the 9x, such as block 2 or block 3 prototype. Your point is kinda like saying the r-74 isn’t as good as other 5th gens when you have the M and M2

Not exactly, a significant quantity of Production representative AURs(~500 or so) were produced, and LRIP occurred. What happened was that no further lots were pursued, on cost grounds in favor of the AIM-9L.

It’s why it’s known as the AIM-95, not XAIM-95
it was tested heavily
in comparison to R-27EA that never existed (iirc R-27A was tested although much less than AIM-95 but R-27EA was never built)
