The AGM-114L, or Longbow Hellfire, is a fire-and-forget weapon: equipped with an active millimeter-wave (MMW) radar guidance system, it requires no further guidance after launch—it can even lock onto a target after launch—and can hit a target without the launcher or other friendly units being within line of sight.
