Adding the GBU-54 LJDAM to F-16C and F-15E

Why is that Paveway so long

Perfect opportunity to add LJDAMS for the F-15 and 16 this update as they added the ER variants to the game but they just gave the F-15/16 the non LJDAM version of it and added the Laser variant to planes that already had LJDAMS.

Is there a reason why the the gnss bombs can’t be carried on the inner most pylons of the F-16. Is it because of a technical limitation or balance?

Those pylons do not have the wiring interface with the plane for the plane to be able to send the bomb coordinates before dropping so only dumb or laser bombs are available from those pylons on the US F-16C.

well damn, guess the devs just replaced the lightning without doing anything else

If you read the manually carefully, you could already seemingly bring CMs on the TGP side even with Lantirn. Sniper isn’t shorter than Lantirn I think, or at least it still goes over the dispensers. But not every part is covered, so the open spots are eligible for flares, whilst rest can be filled with chaff as I have explained here also:

With the APKWS coming to the F-16C, F-15E, and F/A-18C Late, and every nation now getting a new SAM system. This would be yet another great opportunity to add the LJDAM to F-16C and the F-15E to have better options for ordinance that these planes were some of the first to drop in real life.

it is absolutely insane that they dont have them yet despite being in the game for a very long time, and going through the JDAM ER rollout without getting them

@Smin1080p_WT @Stona_WT With the F-15I Ra’am getting SPICE 2000s with IR, IOG, and GNSS what is the possibility of giving the F-15E a multimode seeker bomb like the LJDAM which is already in the game on other planes like the F-18 and Eurofighter. Similar to when the F-15E was added and the F-15I did not have the AGM-65Ds but then they were added because people talked about it and complained. The F-15E and F-16C both were capable of carrying it and the F-16 being the first to ever drop the GBU-54 in combat. With even more modern SAMs and SPAAs being added and more planes gaining access to multimode seekers it would be nice for 2 planes that do not have any could get some that are already in the game. Thanks

Could mention the A-10C, even if it’s not so or so top tier
But damn, no response at all…

Another great time for Gaijin to implement these munitions for these planes. More and more nations are gaining access to this kind of weaponry and now they are giving most nations F&F helis missiles with countries now getting the AH-64E with China getting JAGM when the country it is receiving it through does not even use JAGM. Why do both these planes have to be gimped in their weapon choices when they exist in the game on other planes. It is not some new weapon that will break the game they are already in the game. The F-15E is supposed to be the US top dog CAS plane and currently has less advanced weapons than many others. If not I would just like to know why the DEVs do not want to give these planes these bombs. Thanks. @Stona_WT @Smin1080p_WT @

I think I have finally given up hope that LJDAMS will ever come to the F-15E or the F-16C or really any new A2G weapon for the US. New Super Hornet still uses the same stuff as before but at least it has the LJDAM which they cannot seem to add to the F-15E or F-16C. I just want a Laser/GPS bomb Gaijin it will not break the game.

What can we do? There’s nothing we can.

This is the list of jets that should have both the JDAM and by extension the LJDAM and JDAM-ER
The super hornet should come with the LJDAMs why it doesn’t have them is confusing.

“JDAM is integrated with the A-1 0C, AV-8B, B1B, B-2A, B-52H, F-1 5E, F-16 (all blocks), F/A-18A+/C/D/E/F, and F-22A aircraft…”

Integration of the laser sensor to JDAM is affordable,
field-installable, and virtually risk-free, since no aircraft
software modifications are required. It can also be
used with other upgrades such as the Extended Range
(JDAM ER) wing set that triples JDAM’s range to
greater than 40 miles.

JDAM ER utilizes the existing JDAM aircraft
interface and requires no changes to aircraft
software on platforms that currently interface with JDAM

Probably doubling up on these reports, just saw your reports but I added the whole list in
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/VlQpEUDHgFLY

Now the AESA Eurofighters are getting Spice 250s. Everyone has gotten more advanced A2G ordinance while every “New” US plane is till using Mavericks and Laser or GPS bombs.

@Piciu713 Hello I saw you are a new community manager congrats! I was just wondering if this major update or the next are the devs considering at all LJDAMs for the F-16C or F-15E. Or something like the GBU-53 functioning the same as the SPICE bombs that the new Eurofighters are getting. There have been reports accepted as suggestion and previously there were not many weapons of these types but now most if not all nations will have IR/GNSS bombs or Laser/GPS bombs. Thanks

Not only that but also the gripen is receiving the spice 250, which is a Brazilian specific loadout for the gripen, not swedish, I feel like these nations are being randomly given the best cas options in the game for little reason while not even giving the US its own equipment, it may be a bit to ask for a stormbreaker, but an ljdam isn’t that big of an ask for American top tiers. and the 1000 and 2000 pound variants would be nice. Hi,
