Add helmet-mounted night vision goggles (NVG) for pilots of modern fighter jets such as the F-15C in War Thunder. This would greatly enhance the realism of night operations, improve situational awareness during low-light missions, and more accurately reflect the real-world capabilities of these aircraft.
The JHMCS is used in the F-15, F-16, and F/A-18 aircraft. Elbit Systems of America and Rockwell Collins, through RCEVS, also supply the AV-8B Helmet Mounted Display System.

Adding Night Vision Goggles (NVG) for All Top-Tier Aircraft
Seems that only aircraft with a TGP or similar have it (like an IR weapon, with sight, they can take). The F-15C does not have a TGP or IR weaponary and doesn’t get an NVG as result. This is likely just an oversight, because the code to add IR for weapons adds NVG as well, same for TGPs, but otherwise is not present.
So what needs to happen is that some planes need to get NVG standalone (and preferably not as modification but whatever).
F-15C seems to just not have it, most (if not all) other planes do have NVGs if they had it.
That’s total nonsense my guy, having a TGP doesn’t mean you get NVD’s nor does the lack of a TGP prevent the addition of NVG’s. See the Spey Phantoms, and Harrier GR3, all without TGP all have NVDs?
You’re correct, my bad. I didn’t check thoroughly and actually looking at more examples now in-game this is indeed nonesense, so disregard that. Thanks for the correction. For instance, A-7E does not have NVG but has TGP, so yeah. I over generalized too fast.
It seems the F-15C just in particular is an oversight.
I found some useable sources but not necessarily 100% evidence F-15C uses NVGs operationally.
I got a document of tests of PNVGs on F-15C and E from 1998, a document of F-15C trainer simulator saying it will implement NVG training capability (from 1999) and another document from the national guard site saying that PNVG is integrated in JHMCS for F-15 models (not specifically listing either C or E model, but listing JHMCS).
