Abrams and Leopard still the only MBTs with detailed modules

No, that’s skill issue, or you have really bad server ping.

Try and not ride this:

Before talking big words

Literally me rn

You talk like you have a big experience in the Abrams, otherwise don’t talk about it or try to tell me what to worry about.

Any place in the Abrams can be penned other than the turret cheeks which they’re big enough to ignore and aim for the turret ring which can result of an instant kill or disabling the whole tank, if you think this is not a problem to not worry about then i wouldn’t even speak in this forum starting from today.

Reminder that this is not a flak jacket, that is a carrier rig, it is rated for ballistic threats, not spall.

Yes it will stop spall, but its not a flak jacket, it is designed to allow the crew to operate outside of the vehicle with the same level of protection as a norma infantryman but in a form factor usable in a vehicle.

It would be nice to see this nerf come to other tanks. I wish I had saved the clip but watching a Leopard 2 put three long darts into T-series’s side, seeing it blacken the ammo carousel and yet not disable the horizontal drive was rightfully frustrating. If the bottom plate and a handful of struts always getting knocked out by spalling counts as the horizontal drive, then the ammo carousel in Soviet and Russian tanks should also apply.

T series tanks do not have a tower basket, all their systems pass through wiring that can be disconnected and connected

Power is not delivered to a turret via wires. How would that even work with turret rotation?

Power is delivered to turrets via slip rings.

The problem with the abrams is this :

The entire thing is the horizontal aiming. This thing can be taken out by a bushmaster frontally, rendering you completely unable to fight back in any way. Furthermore, it generates spall which is just the cherry on top.

It’s a horrific nerf, unequally applied.

What’s with the /s 's?

people usually put /s after a sentence to indicate that they are joking/being sarcastic.

Ah, thank you for the answer

Yes, I was too lazy to explain and just put the photos, the tower obviously has rings but the systems are connected to cables and the tower does not have a basket. @SPANISH_AVENGER

Bro… why do you keep talking about baskets? I’ve stated, at least 4 times not including edits;

If the t-series don’t really have baskets, then why not add something like this?

Sure, it’s not as big as the horizontal modules found on leo2 and Abrams but it’s still something…

Why not add driver controls while we’re at it?

But what about the baskets that hold the different kinds of tea bags? That should be considered critical equipment :P

Think we’ll get a modeled Tea pot in a challenger? Get like a -2% crew efficiency when its taken out lol
