You dont even need to climb in A-4E as the airspawn already give you a good altitude.
As for Flares and Chaff, they do both work but since it face manpad, it very hard to flare it, hence what the person above me said about pre-flaring because it is effective.
As for chaff it is good against Tracking radar at that BR and even higher BR as only a few vehicles in the game have the capability to ignore said chaff but those only exist above 11.0, unless you start counting 2S38.
For the CAS loadout, 5x bullpup will give you at least 3 guaranteed kills, 5 if you dont miss with em. While Walleye can be blocked by trees, building, smokes etc, it is effective in it role. Also in regard to Walleye locking the ground, you need to be in certain range for it to track the vehicle.

I dislike Bullpups & AS20s personally, I mentioned them cause they’re still good weapons for people that learned them.
And people discount CCIP bombing in GRB a bit too much.
In regard to your comment on Bullpup, i agree that it is hard for the new players or even the veteran players to get use to it.
As for CCIP bombing, I haven’t used that as walleye and bullpup already gave me enough CAS capability to dominate.

Aight, to break up the arguments.
I believe the A-4E early should stay as is, HOWEVER there should be an effort to get devs to give us ( foldered of course) the A-4E late, A-4F Super Fox and the A-4M (ARBS), all with different kinds of ordnance and different BRs to make a good evolution branch.
If that happens Im gonna be one happy, happy customer
(Maybe an early mod A-4M could be a premium, 9Gs, Mav Bs and no ARBS?)
Edit: this is basically a call to arms for an expanded US A-4 branch, someone make an A-4 master thread or OP should repurpose this one!

a separate 4x wing station Sidewinder (AIM-9B) capability report for the A-4E’s (The Israeli A-4E’s should probably also be able to carry the Sidewinders on the inner wing station as well).
and a separate AIM-9D capability report, as it has been at least 2 years at this point.

Yes, we’ve had reports closed such as stuff for redtop after three years. But I can pass on the feedback on this.
