I shall. Thank you
Hey, you can see here in the shop section on the website at the variety of discounts for all nations so far in 2025 War Thunder — Realistic Military Vehicles Online Combat Game for PC, Xbox and PlayStation. Play for Free News
We do more Soviet designer birthday discounts, that’s true. We’re open to suggestions on other birthdays for other designers, let us know and we’ll see if we can fit them in the calendar. Some might make it, some might not, it depends on how busy everything is. Cheers!
Why?
I shall get to making suggestions, at least for a few, but really shouldnt be on the community for this all the time.
Just from the first 2 pages which takes us back to May
Soviet: 9
China: 3
Germany: 5
USA: 6
Britain: 5
Japan: 3
France: 1
Israel: 2
Sweden: 1
Italy: 2
USSR gets notably more than most. (CBA to check further than 2 pages. but looks like the trend would hold, with about 1/5 of all events being soviet)
@magazine2 Do we need to use the suggestion system as we do for tanks and aircraft, or is there another way?
I guess:
Though they are very backlogged. I still have a pending suggestion from July so could take months to get accepted
Suggestion submitted for Geoffrey de Haviland

Cant forget that Paddy Mayne, the founder of the British SAS for the July Pages of History event required exclusively the use of USSR and German vehicles to unlock
Spoiler
To be both shocked and not at the same time. Le Gasp
Send me them here or in PM please. I can forward names and dates to the store team. I will put together a list.
Pages of History features several operations/battles throughout the month that are not related to the nation of the person in the profile icon, it has always been this way no matter who is featured.
iirc. Not a single one could be acquired via the use of a British vehicle. They were all soviet/Germany war related events. Which is a bit annoying considering its for someone so iconic for the UK
I’ve sent some over as well

In July’s, there was Operation Bluecoat (British vehicles). There are plenty of operations in each month’s pages of history with British vehicles (even when the person in the profile icon isn’t British).
So 1 out of 8 tasks, my bad.
Still a bit annoying that there isn’t a correlation betwene the “history” and the tasks. Makes it impossibe to acquire for free without having every single nation grinded
Oh boy…
Hi, thank you.
Since I’m Italian and there are few events for Italy, I’d like to suggest celebrating these Birthdays

Riiiiight
Any chance with Norway now being a confirmed subtree that we could see their national air holiday in November? Also what does it take to get a yearly holiday? Gaijin has skipped Finland i think 4 out of the 5 or so years theyve been a confirmed tree so how come some nations get ignored some years and other don’t?
