How is this relevant again?
So they always lied to me ?
It was never about the girth, it was always about the length
This is the reason for adding the round, russian tanks of hyperdeath can’t be stuck with a reload time of slightly above a Leopards ace crew. They gotta have that 6 second reload to be competetive.
Because 60% winrate isn’t enough.
RU tanks have 60% WR ?
At least they cant use the “only a marginal increase” as an excuse anymore to not add 3BM59
3BM60 stock shell when lol.
theres also a load of HEAT shells with different levels of effectiveness against different types of armor, of which we only get 2 basic ones.
Did you even look how much it actually changed after 3bm46. According to that ranting , I bet no.
And yes 3bm46 had also 6s reload
New Russian stock round after Sepv3 finally can resist 3BM42 to LFP…

*Protection map lies, the LFP can easily be penned anywhere by Mango-2.
I wonder why they’re now adding a new stock round to Russia… hmmmmm…
conveniently ignores that everyone got new stock rounds and that the 12.7 Abrams now have the best stock round at top tier lol.
We could pretend that Gaijin has now decided to add better stock rounds to all nations out of good will. Or we could go with the possibility that they did it to give Russia easy pen on all Abrams.
As someone who grinded the entire German tree without premium I can appreciate new stock rounds, but what exactly is A2 doing better than the baseline M829 right now? Spall, nope. Pen, yes but it doesn’t improve the penetration map against top tier Russian MBTs or BMPT.
Functionally, the improvements to stock shells at top tier principally benefits Russia, considering their stock round can easily pen the ‘best’ US tank (and most tanks, bar maybe 2A7) versus their top tank NOT being easily penned by the US’ new stock round.
I’m not arguing that Mango-2 is a bad round, that it shouldn’t be added, whatever. I just don’t think it should be Russia’s stock round.
Could be that they saw what the SEPv3 is doing to Russian team and decided to make that “balance” change a top tier wide stock grind improvement.
Before you try to counter some of the above part with “muh russia unbeatable”, I’ll just leave this here:
If that is true all other nations should also lose their new stock darts since almost everyone besides Britain now has a better stock dart than 3BM42-2.
Now look that same inspection using 3bm46 and add em side by side lol
If that is true all other nations should also lose their new stock darts since almost everyone besides Britain now has a better stock dart than 3BM42-2.
I’d be fine with that in all honesty considering (for instance with US) A2 only adds the functionality to pen UFP of a T90A a full 1.7 BRs below at close range.
Could be that they saw what the SEPv3 is doing to Russian team and decided to make that “balance” change a top tier wide stock grind improvement.
Cool! So… where are the nerfs to BMPT win rates?
Additionally, new vehicles draw the better players who wanna get the shiny new thing. We’re two days in and the US is already being nerfed on their only tank that could resist base mango to the LFP? You’re seriously gonna make the argument that the US were suddenly so overpowered because a singular tank of theirs could resist 3BM42 to the LFP?
We could look at the WT data project, which shows Russian win rates are STILL at ~57% to the US’ ~52% so your argument is also pretty null and void in that regard.
I don’t know you as a player but the stats of a single person’s experiences on a vehicle do not dictate the overall experience of the playerbase.
And how is that different when t80 is using 3bm46?
… because 3BM46 isn’t the T80’s stock AP round. And because the T80U can (unreliably) be penned in the UFP by M829A2 / A3.
Hence functionally there is an unequal footing as in that regard the Sepv3’s penetration and survivability scales to a Russian tank a full BR bracket below. (And yes, the v3 outperforms massively in other areas such as reverse gear but we’re discussing the rounds so I’ll limit the scope to avoid overcomplication).
No, I’m making the argument because the US is probably the best top tier lineup in terms of ground now and Russia is not even close behind lmao.
Is this ragebait?
Nope.
However I know a lot of people are just not good enough to tell which vehicles are good or bad. Said players also often confuse their own personal struggles against a tank with said tank being good.
Any of the 12.7 Abrams dumpsters almost every MBT in the Russian top tier lineup currently and only the BVM really puts up a fight.
… I actively play Russia as well.
