Any chance you have the info on the datalink breakaway sacrificial tip somewhere on hand? Cuz i know the A4 has a way to communicate to the FCS but this is the first time i heard about the sacrificial tip being able to separate on its own via datalink.
I also dont really see how much it would affect APS as unless it has some additional boost the main projectile would still atleast in part get affected by most high end APS systems.
Im also curious about the way the datalink for the separation functions, is it some form of wireless connection or is it programmable similarly to AHEAD via some coils at the muzzle or something similar
It’s not stated exactly, but its the going theory on why the ADL is a required function for A4 to defeat 3rd generation ERA layouts combined with APS.
