Don´t forget that 2S38 has 75° elevation that none of the compared vehicles has.
That´s the reason the 2S38 should be classified as SPAA.
Another interesting fact is that 2S38 shares the same reload time (2.5sec) for the ready rack as the 9040C despite having a larger caliber.
The Otomatic on the other hand needs 10seconds also 4 times longer.

Turret traverse in active engagement above a certain amount like 15°s doesnt matter you have ears i assume they function you should be able to hear where the enemy is and already have your gun pre aimed

I’m fairly sure the reason they didn’t make it SPAA was to grant it the light tank’s recon abilities.
SPAA also have recon do you not play the game or something???

The Lvkv9040C does not.
Make a bug report then instead of whining on the forum about it most of the rank VII SPAA have spotting
We’re not whining about the Lvkv9040c here. It’s a good IFV. Not amazing, not even top 8. But good. This thread is about the 2S38 being broken at 10.0, which it is.

You don’t seem to understand that something can only be broken relative to other vehicles - and the Lvkv9040C is easily just as good if not better than the 2S38…
The 2s38 performs nearly identically to the cv90 series i literally already explained that in that wall of text earlier but it seems you’re too lazy to read
It does not perform identically. Neither of you even own the 9040 series.
Its a premium many people spent money or time to get it its not gonna go up cause you have problem with it yes its a weird vehicle sometimes biggest round in game cant kill it sometime .50cal remove it
yes it can obliterate lower brs in right hand no it never can perform good in higher tiers give the game time soon every techtree will get something to counter a thing like 2s38
It sure is funny that you have the Lvkv9040C - and manage a K/D over 2 in it.
While in the BMP-2M, a tank most people consider better than the 2S38 (me included), that also has multi-purpose capability: you don’t even manage ONE kill per death…

They both have IRST
They both have good APFSDS
They both have autocannons
They both have good HE-VT
They both have high quality thermals for their br
They both have decent survivability (should someone not fire HEAT-FS or HE)
The cv90 series has a higher rpm
The 2s38 has higher pen
The cv90 has spall liners on some variants
The cv90 is immune frontally to 30mm
The 2s38 has better gun handling
The cv90 series has one variant with access to the only good top attack munition
The cv90 series has one variant with a radar

It doesn’t. You trade faster horizontal traverse for much worse gun depression. I would rather have -8 deg of gun depression with the lower height of the Lvkv9040C and 33 deg/s traverse than the 2S38’s oversized hull and -5 deg of gun depression with the 56 deg/s of horizontal traverse.
Its better but not by much im trying to be nice to the mentally deficient ones in the thread

I know. I just don’t want to give them an inch.
Do you know why? Because I use the BMP-2M at the highest BR, and I play extremely aggressively, purposefully misusing it, because I don’t like camping.
At 10.0, I use the CV9040s as they are intended, and I brawl with them, so I obviously do better with them. The BMP-2M is a much better IFV than the CV9040s, just like the 2S38 is. Statistics mean literally nothing, and you are a cope filled balloon for someone who has very unimpressive replays.
