2S25M or CV90105 - Relative to br which one is better?

Probably as fire support

Looks like there isn’t really a consistent/real answer lul

@Sternlos I just remembered another HUGE change to the tonks with Hydro Suspension! Both the M1128 and M1128 Wolfpack now have Hydro Suspension 😃 Up/Down AND Forward/Back tilt! Helps SO much with their low gun depression.

Double oh! The new wiki does have a page that lists tonks with “controlled suspension”

Ya im probably gonna buy that and clickbait when the sale hits to grind US, waiting for rdf to go one sale. Thats a pretty nice bonus.

Honestly, don’t get the Wolfpack. I think you’re better off just using the RDF and CB.

I really like the Wolfpack personally, Gen 3 therms for gun+cmd’er, silly good dart for its BR range. Only “downside” is it has a VERY high visibility stat, matters more for Arcade, BUT probably still does affect render distance in GRB (I know that is still an ongoing debate, but I have plenty of experience that Keen Vision etc DOES affect GRB.)

Im a fat oink oink paypig but im not spending 75 dollars on a single vehicle. Wont be on sale for a while since it is new.

Why cant the 2s25m change inclination with its suspension anyways?

I am a kebab person and am DEFINETLY NOT spending that much on a game AT ALL. I wish we had cv90105 tech tree

I do not have the RDF, BUT I do have and like the HSTV-L. Both are SO much better with the prox fuses now. And the HSTV-L has its crazy good gun depression (RDF still has great depression, just not “as” good as the HSTVL). RDF does have SO much more ammo though. Idk, I really like the Wolfpack, even before the Hydro Suspension, it was great for shooting over hills. And now with the Hydro Suspension, you can go up higher, and/or tilt to work with the terrain. It is definitely a different playstyle/technique though. Can’t play it “normally”.

Wolfpack Stryker is over 2 years old now

Yeah, different hull. I think it is “same”/similar to the 2S6, I don’t think they can tilt irl? BUT, fwiw, the 2S38 SHOULD be able to up/down, tilt LOL. It has the same hull as either the BMP-3/BMD-4’s. I think anyway. MAYBE it doesn’t do it IRL? Idk, but I would LOVE it if it could. People would RAGE about the 2S38 having hydro suspension though, I’m sure 😂

Skirts might clip the ground

Oh yeah like @llSolitairell-psn said, it will def be on sale. It goes on sale every year/multiple times a year. I got it on sale a year or two ago myself.

I also think the RDF might be old enough now too to go on sale during Anniversary event.

Yeah added in 2.43, I think we have had 2x updates since then? And next update coming before sale, I think the RDF should be able to be on sale, just have to see if they decide to add it to the sale.

Both are pretty good tanks, however I think the HSTV-L is superior due to that insane mobility.

I bought 90105 back when it was TML. Sometimes i miss the old version, but upgraded one is just 🤌🤌🤌. Exquisite vehicle for a quick and maneuverable gameplay, and it has a Ukrainian ATGM, which gives an additional point of messing with armoured doodles

Both are very different in the ways it can be applied in a match, while being similar for some people. CV 90105 have huge advantages when comes to gun handling and firepower, being able to respond with fire faster than the 2S25M.

Being a tank destroyer, 2S25M isn’t the best vehicle for aggressive-style gameplay, the best option is getting far behind in distant ambush positions, the mobility and the cannon should help with it, which doesn’t mean the vehicle itself is worse than the CV 90105,

For comparison, the mobility is similar, the firepower in the CV 90105 is far better not to say the gun handling, Cockerill 3105 is a good weapon station compared to the 2S25M, trade the damage for quicker response to threats but doesn’t mean it’s worse.

If you’re choosing a vehicle, the best option is the CV 90105 being the best out of the two vehicles which you’ll have great advantages in hilly maps like Second Battle of El Alamein and Mozdok regarding gun depression and other aspects such as silhouette.

I really like the 2S25M great fcs with thermals for gunner and commander also 12.0 shell in 10.0 means you have no issue penetrating anything. Main draw back I would give the sprut is its horrific gun elevation speed even with a level 150 and aced crew it’s only 3.5/s

Ok so I need to play both I assume ? I gotta grind ussr from scratch and gotta buy the 90105

I’m just saying that neither of them are bad, just how you must apply them is different despite similarty, but if I had to choose one it would be the CV 90105, it let you focus on aggressive gameplay as well in defensive as the 2S25M, you really don’t need the 2S25M unless you want it.

aight thanks
