Can we please see some community votes where you ask us what kinds of maps we want etc.
At least hold a poll so we can see the player opinion on if we want big or small maps.
Big maps are pointless as long as Gajin staff slaps offmap timers on huge areas, leaving just mediocore maps.

They turned it 90 degrees without explanation. After playing for so many years it completely stuffed up team communication because we’re used to referring to NSEW. They also removed bushes around A, making it easier for whoever holds A to lock the enemy team into their spawns and anyone approaching A is completely exposed.
Just like every map “improvement”, a failure.
No map change has been done in consultation with customers. All changes have been highly contentious but there has been ZERO engagement with the playerbase. It feels like one team is working hard to replicate the functions of real world tanks, while the map team make changes specifically designed to frustrate the use of those functions.
One can only assume that the changes have been made to benefit CAS because of the following reasons:
- Maps have been shrunk, keeping players closer together, making it easier to spot from the air. The small size of some maps makes it difficult or even impossible for AA to relocate, making them vulnerable when they are in the spawn locations.
- “Canyon” type terrain has been introduced (e.g. 38th Parallel, Attica, city maps, etc) that again compresses players together, making easier CAS targets.
- All large trees were removed from maps, reducing cover. Winter versions of existing maps where introduced, making ground vehicles easier to spot from the air against snow.
- Many maps were completely or partially flattened, or areas offering refuge were marked out of bounds or inaccessible again removing cover from the air.
Fulda was hit hard with the last update. The lower east / eastern part got offmap timers. Cripples the southern team. They simply made all cover on that flank inaccessible. They also flattened a hill I used to snipe. Now the northern team just needs to occupy the high ground next to their spawn to control the whole eastern map half. Flank got closed.
