HISTORY
Back in 2017 we saw the Oshkosh JTLV at an live fire demonstration held by Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace in USA, where this vehicle with a clean RS6 with nothing but the 30x113mm cannon mounted. This vehicle, but with an 7.62mm coaxial machinegun and one 127mm javelin launcher on the side has been seen from around 2020, and has been on exhibition by Kongsberg and Oshkosh a couple time since, one time in 2021 and again recently in 2024 at the annual AUSA event.

This has from my knowledge and research only been seen at demonstrations and exhibitions held by Kongsberg and Oshkosh, and has not been adopted or trialed by anyone yet, and should be a combination put together by Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace in cooperation with Oshkosh Defence to be used for demonstrations and exhibition for the international audience. The vehicle has 1-2 seats for controlling the weapon station, those are located in the rear seats and the gunner is usually on the left side.

The vehicle, the Oshkosh JTLV is an Joint Light Tactical Vehicle designed by the American Oshkosh company designed in 2011 for the JTLV program and won this in 2015, in 2019 full rate production were allowed. This vehicle was intended to deliver comparable armor to its heavier mine resistant counterparts, and be much more reliable and mobile/maneuverable. It is at the moment used in around 8 nations and a lot more potential users.

IN GAME
This could be added for Norway and USA, and would be a nice Light tank or similar role. It has the ability to fight low flying aircrafts and drones, as well as fight lightly armored enemy vehicles, and the ability to fight heavier armor with its Javelin ATGM. It has superb mobility, and is decently protected for an mobility vehicle like this, so it could be great for “Boom and zoom” ground wise, a proper all round vehicle.
